"Special processing" vacuum heat press processing

By heating and applying pressure under vacuum conditions, it is possible to achieve bubble-free bonding, which is difficult to accomplish at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

We have introduced a vacuum heat press machine that can apply pressure in a vacuum state and perform lamination processing for product manufacturing. Processing in a vacuum state is used for various product applications, such as surface treatments like vapor deposition and the bonding of glass and silicon (Si) wafers. Since there is almost no air present, it allows for special processing that cannot be done under atmospheric conditions. ■ Outgassing during lamination using adhesives or adhesive tapes ■ Bubbles when laminating substrates with uneven surfaces using roll laminating If you are facing challenges like these, our vacuum heat press processing may offer a solution. We can perform special processing that is difficult under normal room temperature and pressure conditions, such as reliable bubble-free sealing and vacuum pouching. It is also possible to bond materials treated with plasma without using adhesives. If you are experiencing issues with bubbles during lamination, please contact us at Oatis.

Precision press processing: Responding to high precision, high functionality, and complex shapes in parts processing.

Metal forming and precision pressing suitable for mass production of high-precision, multifunctional parts.

Fine blanking is a type of metal forming and press processing that is an optimal processing technology for the mass production of high-precision, multifunctional parts. Parts punched using fine blanking have smooth shear surfaces without fractures or chipping, and achieve good flatness compared to general press processing. As a result, the finishing processes after press processing can be eliminated or minimized depending on the required quality level, leading to cost reduction. Additionally, by combining with forging, bending, drawing, and shaping, it is also possible to apply this technique to three-dimensional shaped parts, enabling the production of a variety of multifunctional components. Fine Tool offers optimal product and process design through design-in for customers' new product development or improvements to existing products. We provide all processes from development to mass production with the highest quality standards.

Method conversion: Casting + Machining → Precision Press Processing

Proposal for cost reduction through fine blanking processing.

This component has traditionally been manufactured using casting and machining, but by transitioning to fine blanking, we achieve cost reduction while also realizing miniaturization and weight reduction. In fine blanking, plastic processing is performed while maintaining the material's inherent mechanical properties (such as tensile strength and yield strength). As a result, we can supply high-precision and high-rigidity components in a state that allows for immediate assembly without the need for further processing.

[Technical Proposal Example] Transitioning from Hob Processing to Transfer Press Processing

By switching from gear manufacturing using hob machining to transfer press processing, we achieved cost reduction!

This is a technical proposal example for the production of luggage gears. In this case, the product was initially considered for gear production using hob machining. However, hob machining posed a problem of high costs due to the impact of takt time and material costs. Therefore, we proposed a method transition from traditional hob machining to transfer press processing. This achieved a 30% cost reduction and a 50% reduction in lead time. [Case Overview] ■ Issue: Material costs are high with hob machining ■ Effect: Transitioning to progressive press processing resulted in a 30% cost reduction *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Cost reduction through the conversion of cutting parts to press processing methods.

Introducing examples of the transition from cutting processing to pressing processing, starting with the features of cutting processing and pressing processing.

Machining by cutting allows for high precision finishing, but requires a certain amount of processing time. Compared to cutting, press processing is inferior in terms of precision, but it excels in production efficiency. If parts that were previously manufactured by cutting can be produced using press processing, significant cost reductions can be expected. *For more details on the column, please refer to the related links. 【Technical Handbook Presentation】1- What is Metal Press Processing?

We manufacture molds tailored to various shapes for each product and use them! The ability to mass-produce is a major feature.

"Metal press processing" is a method of processing in which a pair of molds is attached to a press machine, and a metal sheet is clamped and subjected to a large amount of pressure to deform it into the shape of the mold. The main materials processed are metals such as iron, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. By manufacturing molds tailored to various shapes for each product, it is characterized by the ability to mass-produce. We are offering a technical handbook. Please take a look. [Main materials processed] ■ Iron ■ Stainless steel ■ Aluminum ■ Titanium ■ Copper ■ Magnesium *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal for Trial Production] Processing Method

Proposal for processing methods by Hayano Kenko, focusing on prototype sheet metal processing.

We received a request from a customer regarding the "processing method." The content is: "Currently, we are designing the product, but we are unsure if the product design we are considering can be processed by pressing, so we would like to consult for now." At Hayano Kanko, we will provide a brief explanation of the drawing processing method using pressing in our process and, based on our experience, we will consult on the labor hours and risks to the extent that we can understand. 【Proposal】 ■ A brief explanation of the drawing processing method using pressing in our process ■ Consultation on labor hours and risks based on our experience ■ It is also possible to obtain backing through CAE analysis ■ Results - Considering design and processability, we conducted mold production while fully considering processing characteristics through CAE analysis - We were able to produce a satisfactory design in a single drawing process *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
