High-precision all-day solar radiation meter based on the measurement principle of thermopile sensors.
A high-precision all-day solar radiation meter based on the measurement principle of thermopile sensors. This measurement principle allows for the acquisition of μV measurement signals without external power supply. When using DC 0/4–20 mA, DC 0–1/5/10 V, or RS485 Modbus-RTU output, external power supply is required. These outputs are always related to W/m², allowing for the correlation with solar radiation on the surface of solar panels.
The RS485 Modbus-RTU output model is equipped with internal diagnostic sensors. It monitors the operational status of the solar radiation meter, enabling the prediction of maintenance needs in advance, thus ensuring reliable measurements at all times. This model allows for changes in settings such as analog output, real-time monitoring of measurement values, and file saving through the PC application software DATAsense. All SenSeka (formerly Delta Ohm) solar radiation meters are designed so that the electrical systems are completely insulated from the housing, allowing installation on any surface, including metal, without additional insulation treatment for the solar radiation meter.
