The company decided to implement an intelligent monitoring system that records standard 300dpi video under normal operating conditions and can capture high-resolution 720dpi video during specific events. The recorded data is stored on the bus, and when the bus returns to the garage, the high-resolution video files are transmitted to a computer in the garage via a wireless connection. Valve Wiring Control and Monitoring System "Rotork Master Station"

Intelligent monitoring and control rotork communication system "Paxscan" for valve actuators and plant equipment, also compatible with Modbus.

The "Rotolock Master Station" is equipped with a large touch screen, allowing operators and engineers to constantly check the status of the system and field devices. Redundancy through hot standby is also possible, enabling continued control even if a component of the system fails. Field device communication supports Rotolock Paxscan and Modbus RTU. Paxscan connects field devices in a loop, and in the event of communication failure at a single point (such as ground faults, short circuits, or disconnections), the loopback function allows for continuous monitoring of connected devices. The maximum loop length is 20 km (no repeater required), with a maximum of 240 connected devices. Standard shielded twisted pair cables can be used. The high-speed 3-channel compact wireless vibration recorder 'MVP-RF3-HC' is a wireless 3-axis (3ch) vibration recorder capable of real-time data display with high-speed sampling at 4kHz. By combining it with the piezoelectric 3-axis accelerometer 'MA3 series', it enables high-frequency vibration measurement of up to 10kHz. The automatic vibration data analysis software 'MVP-VCS-S' automatically calculates the effective values (RMS values) of vibration acceleration and velocity, creates trend graphs, and allows for automatic trend management. Additionally, by setting thresholds, it can also determine abnormalities, making it ideal for the 'preventive maintenance' of motors. 【Features】 1. High-speed sampling of 10kHz for 1ch and 4kHz for 3ch is possible. 2. In combination with the piezoelectric 3-axis accelerometer, it allows measurement over a wide range: - Vibration frequency up to 10kHz - Vibration acceleration up to 1000G 3. [AirGRID Use Case] Remote Monitoring System

We would like to introduce a case where Otani Machinery Works, Daichi Forging Works, and SHF developed a remote monitoring system incorporating 'AirGRID'. Daichi Forging Works has not been able to advance its technical inheritance due to a chronic shortage of young personnel. Otani Machinery Works had to bring loggers to the customer's site after trouble occurred, accumulate data for a certain period, and then take the data back for analysis. In response, they developed a remote monitoring system. By implementing the remote monitoring system, they achieved the minimization of machine downtime due to mechanical troubles and a reduction in maintenance costs. 'AirGRID' was evaluated as a suitable system because it allows for the collection of machine operating information simply by installing a wireless communication device on existing Patlite signal lights. Introduction of a case study on the delivery of a blast furnace hot air stove shell temperature monitoring system.

This system is used to continuously monitor numerous temperatures of the various devices that make up the hot air furnace at 5-second intervals. It employs the "Wave Researcher," which has been enhanced with features on two network computers, and Yokogawa Electric Corporation's data acquisition system "MX100." The system calculates the rate of temperature change of the temperature data from different parts of the hot air furnace in real-time and conducts anomaly prediction analysis to detect signs of potential issues. It measures and monitors numerous temperature data in real-time from the "MX100," which cannot be captured by the operational control system, while also calculating the temperature changes of each part in real-time for up to 10 days. This information is useful for analyzing signs of abnormal conditions that could lead to a halt in blast furnace operations.
