About the Weaving Methods and Characteristics of Wire Mesh
Various weaving methods are possible depending on how the wire is combined! Use this as a reference for selecting a weaving method that suits your purpose!
Wire mesh can be woven in various ways depending on how the wires (lines) are combined. Starting with "plain weave," where vertical and horizontal lines maintain a consistent spacing and intersect one by one, there are also options like "diamond weave (for hedges)," which is woven in a diamond shape by twisting a single wire together, allowing for the selection of weaving methods suited to specific purposes. Other types include twill weave, flat mat weave, twill mat weave, vertical twisted wire plain weave, and ton-cap weave. 【Weaving Methods and Features】 ■ Plain Weave - Vertical and horizontal lines maintain a consistent spacing and intersect one by one. ■ Twill Weave - Vertical and horizontal lines maintain a consistent spacing and overlap each other by two or more lines. - Because two lines overlap, a larger bending angle of the lines is possible, allowing for the use of relatively thicker wires. ■ Flat Mat Weave - A plain weave where horizontal lines are in contact and arranged next to each other. ■ Twill Mat Weave - A wire mesh woven in a twill style with two lines overlapping, using the same line diameter as flat mat weave, allowing for finer weaves up to about twice as fine, making it suitable for high filtration. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
