Beage USB 12 Low-Cost USB Analyzer FS/LS Compatible

Low-cost USB analyzer supporting Full/Low. Other products in the same series support USB 2.0 (HS) and USB 3.0 (SS).

You can use it for the analysis of Full and Low Speed USB. There are also Beagle USB 480, Beagle USB 480 Power, which support up to the higher USB 2.0 (HS) in the same series, and Beagle USB 5000 v2, which supports USB 3.0 (SS). Although there are some functional limitations, the same GUI software can be used, making it efficient. Beagle USB features a function called live functionality. This means real-time display that sequentially shows the state of the bus, and it goes a step further by allowing analysis work to be performed during capture. This enables more efficient work compared to tools that cannot do anything until the capture is finished. Particularly during long captures (up to over 20GB on a Windows 7 64-bit PC with 32GB), being able to view necessary parts without stopping the capture is effective for troubleshooting rare issues. Another feature is that the API is publicly available. This allows users to create their own applications similar to the included GUI, which is convenient for integrating into special analysis or inspection devices.

Beagle USB 480 TP320510 USB Analyzer

USB 2.0/1.1 specification, lightweight (96g), compact, and high-performance device development, testing, and support TP320510 Beagle USB 480.

The main feature of the Beagle USB 480, a USB 2.0/1.1 protocol analyzer, is its high performance. Thanks to improvements in LSI and PC performance, it is easier to use and has overall better performance than other USB 2.0 analyzers that were sold at around 2 million yen during the early days of the standard's release. The latest analyzer GUI software, Beagle Data Center Ver7.xx, is included with the product. In the Data Center, it is possible to display while decoding classes during capture, as well as perform analysis tasks that include filtering and searching. The device has an internal buffer, but the actual capture capacity depends on the memory capacity of the PC side as long as the buffer does not overflow. Nowadays, it is possible to obtain a notebook PC with 16GB of memory for under 100,000 yen. A PC with 32GB of memory can handle large captures exceeding 20GB. Since the data is in memory, searches can be performed at speeds that are incomparable to those of HDDs. Additionally, the USB 3.0 analyzer Beagle USB 5000 v2, USB-PDA, Beagle I2C/SPI (TP320121), and Komodo CAN Duo can all be used with the same software, making it convenient to operate with the same methods.

USB Power Delivery Analyzer USB-PDA

The USB Power Delivery Analyzer USB-PDA is a professional tool that allows for custom application development in addition to the included GUI.

The performance of Total Phase's USB-PDA, highly regarded as a USB Power Delivery analyzer, is not limited to decoding the CC line of USB PD3.0 or simple voltage/current measurement functions. Since it is designed to be inserted in the middle of the signal line, it is carefully designed to minimize impact on high-speed communication, resulting in a very small size. Although the specifications do not mention its use on a 20Gbps communication line, its small size is advantageous. The included GUI software is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac (including M1 models). It not only displays data sequentially while capturing a large amount of it in host memory but also allows for live searching and filtering during capture. This GUI software, Data Center, is also used with Total Phase's Beagle USB Analyzer, Beagle I2C/SPI, as well as Komodo CAN Analyzer and Promra eSPI Analyzer. For debugging rare events or for integration into inspection devices, there is the advantage of being able to create custom applications using the API.

MDIO Protocol Analyzer (Low Voltage IO Compatible) TB3016E

As an MDIO protocol analyzer, the TB3016E, which supports low voltage and 12.5MHz MDC, is available at a low price from Tateno Denno Co., Ltd. with a short delivery time.

MDIO communication has traditionally been done at MDC clock speeds of around 2.5MHz or 4MHz. As the internal clock of devices increases, there are devices where the timing relationship between MDC and MDIO data changes even at low speeds, making it difficult for conventional analyzers to capture the data effectively. The TB3016E features a protocol analyzer function that operates at a sampling rate of 200MHz, capable of supporting MDIO buses and devices with MDC speeds up to 12.5MHz. One of the strengths of the TB3016E is that, in addition to the protocol analyzer mode, it also has a logic analyzer mode. In logic analyzer mode, it can trigger on MDIO data and display the waveform and protocol decode results after capture stops. The TB3016E connects to a Windows PC via USB 3.0 and operates on bus power. There is a special price available for the TB3016E when purchased simultaneously with the MDIO controller SUB-20. The TB3016E can be used not only for MDIO but also as a protocol analyzer for I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, SMBus, PMBus, and USB 1.1. The TB3016E is the successor model to the TB2016E.

DisplayPort AUX Monitor & Analyzer

A logic analyzer that serves dual functions: decoding DP_Aux and displaying it sequentially like a monitor, and triggering to show waveforms and decoded results in a data stream.

TB2016B is equipped with a dedicated input that allows direct connection of DP_Aux differential signals. In pro-analyzer mode, it displays sequentially while capturing. In logic analyzer mode, it can trigger on data sequences, and after capturing stops, it can display the waveform and protocol decode results. Since it captures to the PC's memory, long-term analysis is possible. In logic analyzer mode, by connecting an external DP_Aux Adapter (differential conversion board), it is possible to capture and analyze multiple DP_Aux signals simultaneously (or capture and analyze DP_Aux and I2C, etc. simultaneously).
