Leave the fluororesin coating to us! [Painting with paint that meets the required performance]

We propose appropriate fluoropolymer coatings with properties such as release characteristics, slip resistance, electrical insulation, oil resistance, chemical resistance, and solvent resistance. Achieving uniform coatings at the micron level.

Our company responds to various concerns of our customers, such as rust prevention and anti-seizing in areas where oil cannot be applied, as well as noise reduction in non-disassemblable units, through specialized surface treatment technologies like fluoropolymer coating, phosphate coating, and molybdenum disulfide coating. Regarding the "fluoropolymer coating" we offer, there are specifications tailored to the environment in which each type is used. If a coating that is unsuitable for the environment is applied, it can harm the coating film, leading to peeling. When the coating film peels, the performance of the paint cannot be realized. Therefore, when you request fluoropolymer coating from us, we ask about the purpose and the usage environment. Based on that information, we will propose the appropriate paint and then proceed with the coating. We are ready to assist regardless of the industry. Please feel free to consult us. 【Selection of Paint】 ■ For use at room temperature, epoxy-based fluoropolymer paint ■ For use at high temperatures (below 200°C), polyamide-based fluoropolymer *For those seeking lubrication or release properties, we can also propose and apply coatings that do not use PFAS. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Prevention of resin adhesion in the welding heater block of the packaging bag manufacturing process.

Zero resin adhesion even in high-temperature environments! Achieved 4 months of durability with our uniquely developed surface treatment.

■Issue We want to prevent the adhesion of resin films in a high-temperature environment of up to 180°C. A surface treatment that can accommodate both polypropylene bags and aluminum vapor-deposited bags is necessary. The current treatment has a short lifespan and requires frequent replacements. ■Background The heater block is an important component in the sealing process of packaging bags. When heat is applied to bond the resin film, there is a problem where the resin from the film easily adheres to the surface of the block. The customer tried surface treatments from other companies but did not achieve sufficient results, making the realization of stable non-stick properties and long lifespan urgent. ■Adopted Treatment We developed our unique "TP Coating" and applied it to the surface of the heater block. ■Features - Excellent release properties that prevent resin adhesion - Stable performance even in high-temperature environments - Selection process for the treatment ■Effects - Achieved a lifespan of about 4 months with an operating frequency of 10 times per minute - Reduced cleaning frequency and operational losses by maintaining non-stick properties - Improved operational efficiency of the production line with stable performance under high temperatures For more details, please refer to the catalog or contact us directly.

Doubling the durability of mold surface treatment in automotive motor parts manufacturing.

Durability improved by about 2 times! Dramatically enhanced productivity of injection molding molds.

■Issue In injection molding components, the durability of the mold surface treatment is poor, requiring frequent replacements and hindering productivity. ■Solution Gradually adjust a surface treatment that is resistant to wear from molten resin and has lasting effectiveness, adopting the optimal coating. ■Customer's Challenge A manufacturer of automotive parts faced the following issues in the injection molding process of motor components: ■Details of the Issue Even with surface treatment, epoxy resin adhered, necessitating replacement after about 2,000 shots. Frequent mold changes led to decreased productivity and increased costs. ■Conditions for Surface Treatment Selection Contact with molten epoxy resin under high temperature (150°C) and high pressure. Improving wear resistance is the top priority. ■Solution Method To improve the durability of the surface treatment, tests were conducted with multiple coating specifications to consider the optimal treatment. The following surface treatments were tested: - Bi-Coat NYK-11-S Durability comparable to conventional products - Bi-Coat TYS-03K Lifespan of a few hundred shots - Bi-Coat NYK-01 (Adopted) Durability improved to twice that of conventional products Recommended for those facing issues with resin adhesion prevention and wear-resistant coatings. Please feel free to contact us!

For the release and non-stick properties of solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (S-SBR)!

Introducing coating technology that achieves non-stick and release properties on contact surfaces.

With the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) adoption, the tire industry is rapidly developing EV-specific tires that have different performance characteristics compared to traditional gasoline vehicles. Among these, SSBR is gaining attention as a material that significantly improves tire performance due to its unique molecular structure compared to conventional styrene-butadiene rubber (E-SBR). On the other hand, SSBR is inherently a highly adhesive substance, increasing the need for non-adhesive coatings in the manufacturing process. [Need for Non-Adhesive Coatings in the Manufacturing Process] ■ Adhesion prevention is necessary during the storage and transportation of uncured rubber. ■ Adhesion prevention is necessary when handling extruded products and pre-formed products. ■ Adhesion prevention is necessary in the tire manufacturing process. If you are experiencing troubles or decreased productivity due to adhesion issues in the manufacturing process, please consider non-adhesive coatings. Yoshida SKT offers a variety of coating options. We will propose non-adhesive coatings that match each process. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Achieve slip resistance with wear-resistant coating! Coating solution case studies available.

An alternative to fluororesin coatings! A case study of a coating that achieves both wear resistance and slip properties that were previously given up on.

The resin caps immediately after molding are sticky and are coated with fluororesin to provide slip properties. However, fluororesin is prone to wear, and when it wears down, it can lead to foreign matter contamination. The document describes a solution to enhance "slip properties" without wear. For details, we will introduce a case study of mirin caps for a major beverage manufacturer! *For more information, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
