The structure, characterized by the high airtightness and high insulation of the 2x4 construction method, is thoroughly implemented. We simulate the heating and cooling consumption based on weather data and mechanical heat quantities, setting the size of windows and insulation performance. Additionally, a spacious atrium structure from the ground floor to the second floor allows for the entire building to be heated and cooled with five household air conditioning units. In conventional drain piping installation, "PVC piping installation" is generally adopted. In contrast, our company's "drain pump" used in "drain pump + hose installation" has a completely different drainage method. Let's take a look at the differences in drainage methods. ■ PVC Piping Installation (Drain Up) This method involves lifting the drain water from the air conditioner and draining it using natural slope. It is essential to create a slope for drainage. ■ Drain Pump + Hose Installation This method lifts the drain from the air conditioner using a drain pump and pumps it out with the power of the pump. In this case, no slope is necessary. Furthermore, with a built-in backflow prevention valve in the pump, it can immediately send the water horizontally to the drainage destination after being lifted. This is a method that uses hose piping. ■ Points With drain pump + hose installation, drainage can be reliably achieved regardless of the piping slope. There is no need to design the drainage route in advance, allowing for on-site decisions, which provides the advantage of being able to install air conditioning equipment in the optimal location.

Reduce work time and labor costs by 80% compared to conventional "PVC piping installation"! A new drainage piping installation method that does not require a slope: "Drain pump + hose installation."

As an example of conventional "PVC piping installation," when using a drain-up kit installed in ceiling cassette air conditioners, the drain piping is raised and sloped (natural slope) to send the drain to the drainage point. If the slope is not sufficient, drainage cannot occur, so it is necessary to design the piping route and install support hardware. This process includes many tasks that require knowledge and experience, such as marking out, anchor installation, and bonding PVC pipes. In contrast, "drain pump + hose installation" does not require a natural slope because the drain pump pressurizes and discharges the water. Since it uses hose piping, the piping route can be freely determined on-site. No knowledge or experience is needed for installation, and the number of steps is fewer, making it possible for anyone to perform the installation while also reducing the likelihood of installation defects. The installation time*1 is approximately 16 hours for PVC piping installation and about 3 hours for drain pump + hose piping. Labor costs*2 are 42,000 yen for PVC piping installation and 8,000 yen for drain pump + hose piping. Comparatively, both can achieve an 80% reduction (compared to our company). *1… A single worker installs a 20m long drain pipe. Design and trial operation time and costs are not included. *2… Calculated based on 21,000 yen for 8 hours of work per day.
