µCount3D
Microbial cell counter
- Count bacteria, fungi, and yeast - Accurate and highly reproducible results through 3D image analysis - Equipped with the proprietary inclined inverted camera technology, FluidScope scanning technology The FluidScope technology (patented) of µCount3D utilizes an inclined camera. This allows for capturing not just planar information but three-dimensional information when taking images. The height of the subject being imaged is 150µm, and by overlaying images, vertical and horizontal Z-stack images are created. All objects within this rectangular prism are captured in focus. Operation is conducted using a PC, and image data is provided along with the counting results. For counting fungal spores, a cassette called µCassetteF is used. A single image is constructed from 400 overlapping images, and the number of spores is counted using a selected deep learning algorithm. For counting bacteria, a cassette called µCassetteB is used. Bacteria settle very slowly, so they are present throughout the entire volume captured, and they are counted.
