While they knew that the equipment had stopped, they could not determine "when" or "for how long" it had been down, and the only way to find out was to ask the person in charge directly, which resulted in significant time loss and was very problematic. In response, we proposed a solution that could address their concerns through real-time monitoring of production status, as well as the collection of production information, operational management, and aggregation and analysis. They implemented the "IRD/IDD series" along with the "Leader" software, which enabled them to measure "downtime history."
