A newly developed carbide material that balances hardness and toughness through original component design specifically for micro drills. The groove shape emphasizes drill rigidity and chip evacuation, resulting in a drill that is less prone to breakage.
In small-diameter hole drilling, there are many issues such as "[prone to sudden breakage and short tool life]" and "[unstable processing due to variations in hole position accuracy]." To address these problems, the Aqua REVO Drill Micro has been developed.
By adopting original component design and ultra-fine particle carbide, a new carbide substrate specifically for micro drills has been developed. Compared to the conventional Aqua REVO Drill, toughness and hardness have been further enhanced.
Additionally, to suppress sudden breakage caused by chip clogging, a groove shape with increased core thickness has been adopted, enhancing chip evacuation and tool rigidity.
For the coating, the REVO-D coat optimized for micro drills has been adopted. The ultra-smooth treatment reduces resistance during cutting and improves chip evacuation.
