To prevent clogging of HPLC columns, a simple and versatile filtration process is essential. Captiva 0.2µm and 0.45µm filter plates are suitable for removing precipitated protein samples as a pre-treatment for LC/MS analysis. Captiva 10µm and 20µm glass fiber filter plates are designed to clarify samples containing a lot of particles, such as fresh frozen plasma and liver cells, thereby preventing issues with sample transfer caused by clogging of pipette tips. Craftsman's Point: Achieved optical properties with a periodically varying refractive index. Application: Expected applications in notable fields such as Raman spectroscopy.

We will achieve optical characteristics that have not been realized before by periodically changing the refractive index. Conventional optical filters (optical thin films) consist of alternating layers of high-refractive-index and low-refractive-index films, which exhibit specific optical properties. In contrast, notch filters (band-stop filters) are deposition products designed to periodically change the refractive index in the thickness direction. A characteristic feature is that no optically unnecessary ripple occurs outside the stopband. We can achieve optical characteristics that were not possible with previous optical thin film processing. (Do you have such challenges?) ■ Is it possible to reflect only around the wavelength of 532nm? ■ I would like the unnecessary parts to be unable to transmit optically. ■ Notch filter? Band-stop filter? Rugate filter? ■ I have heard that the measurement difficulty after deposition is high; can you accommodate this?

Optical thin film products IR cut filter 3 IRC+AR

Filters corresponding to the light absorption spectra of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b.

The IR Cut Filter 3 is a dielectric multilayer film that does not transmit infrared light (reflects it) while allowing visible light to pass through. It is formed by ion-assisted deposition (IAD), creating a shiftless and dense film. Compared to IR Cut Filter 1, it is a wide transmission range IR cut filter that allows visible light to pass close to the near-infrared region. Additionally, it features an anti-reflective coating (AR) on the backside, enhancing the transmittance in the transmission range. It is capable of transmitting and reflecting not only visible light and infrared but also any wavelength as needed. This filter corresponds to the light absorption spectra of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, making it suitable for plant growth experiments. We provide consistent design and manufacturing of IR cut filters. We will design and manufacture according to customer requests, including specifications for half-wavelength, transmission band, and cut-off band.
