Screw insert "Helicoil" Tangless thread insert

Helicoils, which are often incorporated into design specifications. By embedding them into the base material, they enhance thread strength and allow for repeated use!

"Helicoil" is the original "screw insert" that was born in the United States in the 1930s. Tangless thread inserts provide a permanent and wear-resistant screw thread, eliminating the need for cutting and extraction of tangs. They also come with a "screw lock" mechanism that prevents loosening under vibration or impact. One or more insert coils provide self-locking torque to the male component. Using tangless thread inserts ensures that no loose tangs remain, making it a solution for critical applications where foreign object debris (FOD) is not present. There is no need for cutting or retrieving tangs, and they can be easily adjusted or removed after installation. They reinforce the weakness of "thread profile weakness" found in plastics and aluminum in situations where lightweight and strength are required, such as in precision instruments and aerospace components. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Screw insert "Helicoil" Tanged thread insert

Helicoils, which are often incorporated into design specifications. By embedding them into the base material, they enhance thread strength and enable repeated use!

"Helicoil" is the original "thread insert" that was born in the United States in the 1930s. The outer diameter of the tang thread insert is larger than the diameter of the threaded hole, and by being inserted into the hole, the diameter of the coil decreases. The coil expands with a spring-like action and is permanently fixed in the hole. The screw is then smoothly inserted, and the looseness is tightened. Additionally, to prevent loosening under vibration or impact, it provides an elastic internal locking screw (with a locking mechanism). In situations where lightweight and strength are required, such as in precision instruments and aerospace components, it reinforces the "weakness of the threads" that is a disadvantage of plastic and aluminum. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Screw insert "Helicoil" thread insert series

Helicoils, which are often incorporated into design specifications. By embedding them into the base material, they enhance thread strength and allow for repeated use!

"Helicoil" is the original "screw insert" that was born in the United States in the 1930s. We offer two types. ■ Tanged Thread Insert The tanged thread insert provides a permanent and wear-resistant screw thread, eliminating the need for cutting and removing tangs. It also features a "screw lock" mechanism that prevents loosening under vibration or impact. ■ Tangless Thread Insert The tangless thread insert provides self-locking torque to male components through one or more insert coils. Using tangless thread inserts eliminates the risk of loose tangs, making it a solution for critical applications where foreign object debris (FOD) is not present. There is no need for cutting or retrieving tangs, and they can be easily adjusted or removed after installation. In situations where lightweight and strength are required, such as in precision equipment and aerospace components, they reinforce the weakness of "thread strength" found in plastics and aluminum. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
