When a label is attached to a plastic molded product, gas can be generated from the plastic over time, causing gas to accumulate between the label and the plastic molded product, which may lead to the label lifting, swelling, or peeling. This phenomenon is particularly likely to occur when labels are applied to resins such as polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), and ABS, which are prone to heat. This outgassing countermeasure (anti-blister) label features an adhesive structure designed to allow gases generated from the plastic to escape easily. It is ideal for labels applied to plastic housings (molded products) of electronic components, electronic devices, and industrial equipment.
