Installed a magnetic proximity switch and achieved zero troubles! Here’s a case study demonstrating reliable monitoring!

We have been using a stirrer for drug formulation, and until now, we managed the mixing process by timing it with the stirrer's button. Although we adjust the stirring time based on seasonal conditions, managing it by time means that any malfunction could lead to insufficient mixing and result in product defects. There have been requests such as "I want to monitor whether the stirrer is definitely running" and "I want to manage the stirrer's rotation speed and shorten the changeover time." We installed the magnetic proximity switch "DW-100" manufactured by Makome Research Institute on the stirrer, placing the "DW-100" next to the stirrer shaft, and affixing the magnetic bodies "SMG-100N" and "SMG-100S" around the shaft. As a result of this improvement, by installing the "DW-100," we can now manage the count of the stirrer, making the changeover process smoother. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The ENV200 model consists of a transmitter and a receiver, and it receives ultrasonic waves emitted from the transmitter. When the sludge concentration in the piping increases, the received wave attenuates. This attenuation rate is output as a change in sludge concentration. There are three types of sensors available: spool piece type, tank installation type, and clamp-on type, which can measure different ranges. The EEAM method is employed, which not only uses the amplitude change of the received signal but also saves the envelope of the received signal and calculates its energy.
