Case Study of Stove-Robo Robot Implementation: Aseptic Filling of Vials

Three robots thriving in a sterile environment! Introducing case studies of stove robots.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Stobri Robot" handled by Stobri Co., Ltd. In the case of Como in Italy, when attempting to integrate a robot into the next-generation Steriline system, they faced the problem of not being able to find a robot that could be used permanently in an environment that meets clean class (ISO 5) and uses HVP (hydrogen peroxide gas). As a solution, we integrated three of our "TX60 SteriClean Robots" into the new system to perform transport tasks. As a result, the number of parts in the equipment was significantly reduced, and cleaning and sterilization of the equipment became much easier. [Case Study] ■ Italy Como ■ Challenge: Unable to find a robot that can be used permanently in an environment using HVP ■ Result: The number of parts in the equipment was significantly reduced, making cleaning and sterilization easier. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Fully Automated Injection Molding (450t)

Using a part with a diameter of 6mm and a length of 10mm! An example of aligning insert parts and leveling the mold.

There was a challenge to align 30 small insert parts (15 pieces of Φ6mm×10mm each in 2 sets) and automatically insert them into the mold, while ensuring that the levels of the insert supply side and the mold side were within 0.3mm. To address this, a "double-wing robot" (Yushin model RAII-α-400-M-MS) was used, which has two arms for aligning the inserts and for product retrieval plus insert insertion. Positioning pins were added to the chuck table, and by minimizing vibrations during the insertion of parts into the mold, we successfully leveled the insert supply side and the mold side. [Challenges] - It is necessary to align 30 small insert parts (15 pieces of Φ6mm×10mm each in 2 sets) and automatically insert them into the mold. - The levels of the insert supply side and the mold side must be adjusted to within 0.3mm. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Robot Implementation Case] Assembly Process of Paint Spray Gun

Reproducing movements close to those of the human hand! A case study of introducing robots into processes that involve complete manual work by skilled workers.

The painting hand spray gun assembly process at Meiji Machinery Manufacturing Co., which introduced robots this time, was previously a completely manual process performed by skilled workers. Since the spray gun body is made of aluminum die-cast, the precision of hole positions and other aspects is low, requiring a lot of manual adjustments during assembly, leading to variations in quality and work time, low productivity, and the long-standing challenge of securing skilled workers. After the introduction of robots, improvements in productivity and quality were achieved, and the delays that had been occurring every time a worker left were resolved, allowing for inventory to be produced as well. 【Case Overview】 ■ Implementing Company: Meiji Machinery Manufacturing Co., Okayama Factory ■ Before Implementation: 4 skilled workers performed assembly work manually ■ After Implementation: - Parts on pallets are inspected using image measurement devices - Automatic assembly is performed, including three-dimensional movements, while replicating movements similar to human hands - Finished products are stored in a storage stocker *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What types of industrial robots are there? An explanation of the main six types and their characteristics.

The key point of classification is "the type and structure of joints"! Introducing the "types" of industrial robots.

The birth of industrial robots in Japan dates back to more than half a century ago. In 1968, Kawasaki Heavy Industries signed a technology transfer contract with the American venture company Unimation and began efforts for domestic production. In 1969, they completed the first domestically produced model, the "Kawasaki Unimate 2000." Since then, the development of industrial robots in Japan has accelerated, particularly in the automotive industry. It has become a major industry that has gained a significant share of the global market, laying the foundation for Japan's current status as a "robot powerhouse." Industrial robots could be described as "born in the U.S. and raised in Japan." *For more details, you can refer to the related catalog. Please feel free to contact us for more information.*
