The Akari-na C has been adopted in a high-grade office building equipped with features such as new seismic standards, energy-saving and environmental considerations, power supply from a generator during power outages, ventilation capacity of the air conditioning system being 1.5 times the usual, and the use of non-contact switches in all elevators. Akari-na C reduces lighting usage, enhances air conditioning efficiency to lower cooling costs, and is highly durable, thus reducing maintenance costs. The frequency of replacements is decreased, leading to a reduction in waste. Furthermore, the CO2 emissions during production are about half that of typical aluminum blinds.
