Development of materials that eliminate poor dispersion *Case study of an interior material manufacturer

Make it easier to mix difficult-to-mix substances! A case where hard-to-mix components were uniformly dispersed to solve problems! Introducing a case study from an interior materials manufacturer.

To interior material manufacturers, we propose an intermediate material that uniformly disperses hard-to-mix components and will introduce examples of how we have resolved issues related to defects and decreased production efficiency. In the company, undispersed materials in the mixture were causing defects such as appearance issues and reduced physical properties. We proposed a paste-like intermediate material that uniformly disperses hard-to-mix components through careful selection of equipment and formulation. This improved defects caused by undispersion and resolved the issue of decreased production efficiency. 【Case Overview】 ■ Background - Defects and decreased production efficiency due to undispersed materials ■ Effects - Resolution of defects caused by undispersed materials - Resolution of decreased production efficiency issues - Prevents material scattering due to its paste-like consistency *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Dispersant

Prevents the reaggregation of dispersed particles! A substance that maintains a stable dispersion state.

"Dispersants" are agents that exhibit dispersion functions. Among various fields and materials, our company offers "pigment dispersants" that can be utilized to enhance performance by mixing specific materials into plastic materials (resins). This allows for mixing in a short time, easily, and efficiently. In particular, our products are pigment dispersants primarily composed of special nonionic surfactants, which demonstrate effective dispersion without changing the properties of the resin. [Product Lineup] ■ Denon 3000 ■ Denon 1892 ■ Denon 3419 ■ Baloo 7220 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Data] High filling using big chemical additives for heat-releasing particles

BYK Technical Report! Viscosity Reduction of Heat Dissipating Slurry Dispersion in Silicone Resin Systems

This document is a BYK technical report introducing the high filling of heat-dissipating particles using big chemistry additives and the reduction of viscosity in heat-dissipating slurry dispersion with silicone resin. It presents experimental results showing that the viscosity of the slurry can be reduced by organic dispersants and polysiloxane-based additives. Additionally, it explains "the slurry dispersion of aluminum nitride," "the wetting of heat-dissipating particles in MEK and silicone resin," and "aluminum nitride dispersion: the viscosity reduction effect of additives" using diagrams. We encourage you to read it. 【Contents】 ■ Introduction ■ Dispersion of aluminum nitride in solvents using organic dispersants ・DISPERBYK products, BYK-9076 ■ Dispersion of heat-dissipating particles in MEK and silicone resin ■ Conclusion *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Lignin-based, sludge dispersion

Measurements conducted at pH 8.5! Improved cleaning by preventing reattachment to the surface [Samples available].

Pionera dispersants demonstrate superior performance in the dispersion of many common contaminants (rust, clay, soot, oil, etc.) in cooling circuits compared to polyacrylate. Dispersion improves cleaning by keeping particles suspended in water and preventing re-adhesion to surfaces. In the laboratory, a diluted dispersion of ferric oxide (0.1g in 50ml) and kaolin (1g in 50ml) was prepared with dispersant concentrations of 0.01% to 0.03% (weight of dispersant per weight of solid particles), using a polyacrylate (PA) with a molecular weight of 5000 Da as the baseline. [Key Points] ■ Superior dispersion performance of Pionera biopolymer compared to petroleum-based polyacrylate ■ Proven to be a sustainable bio-based alternative in water treatment formulations ★Samples of 200-300g are currently available★ Please feel free to contact us for more details.
