We propose the use of drones for surveying, construction management, inspections, and more. In surveying operations, drone photography allows us to obtain millions of point cloud data in a single shot, enabling the creation of 3D models that can be handled as data in 3D CAD, allowing us to gather necessary information without visiting the site. Examples: Creation of orthophotos, measurement of distances and areas, creation of restoration drawings for existing bridges. In construction management, point cloud data possesses high precision with X, Y, and Z coordinates for all points, making it possible to obtain accurate information about the shape of structures, the volume of earthworks, and more. A must-see! [Drone Work Examples] Plane Surveying

Correct and analyze with high-precision position coordinates! It is easy to create necessary cross-sectional views from point cloud data.

In UAV plane surveying, the installation of control points is entirely done manually, accounting for about 35% of the total work time. Reducing this task as much as possible is key to enhancing productivity. According to an announcement from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, if a technology for accurately measuring the UAV's self-positioning (RTK, PPK) is introduced, the installation of ground control points can be optional, and only accuracy verification at verification points is required. This allows us to omit the installation of control points when capturing images with our UAVs "Phantom4 RTK" and "Matrice210 RTK," which are capable of self-positioning, thereby increasing productivity. Additionally, we use PPK (Post-Processed Kinematic method using virtual reference points) to correct and analyze to high-precision position coordinates (within ±3cm in all directions). By conducting drone surveys and generating point cloud data from continuous high-precision photographs using SfM, there is no need to measure the coordinates of control and verification points with surveying instruments. This results in a reduction of work time compared to conventional surveying, and it becomes easy to create the necessary cross-sectional views from the point cloud data. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

In the management of formwork, it is often necessary to conduct measurement and photography work in areas that are difficult to measure, such as steep slopes, which can be dangerous and challenging. Starting from the fiscal year 2020, ICT-based construction methods have been introduced, including ICT slope work (formwork), allowing for the use of UAVs and other technologies in measurement methods in addition to traditional management.
