What is fluoropolymer? Shine Kogei will teach you about fluoropolymer coatings!
Fluoropolymer was discovered by DuPont in the 1930s and introduced to the market under the trademark name "Teflon." Fluoropolymer possesses excellent physical, chemical, and electrical properties that cannot be obtained from other industrial materials, and its applications now range widely from everyday household kitchen appliances to cutting-edge space equipment. The unique properties of fluoropolymer are attributed to its structure, which is based on a polymer of carbon-carbon bonds surrounded by highly stable fluoropolymer, resulting in its inertness. Fluorine atoms bond stably to carbon-carbon compounds and do not detach due to chemical reactions, making them particularly stable against heat. Recently, the varieties have increased to over 20, and depending on the structural characteristics of each polymer, properties such as non-stickiness, low friction, weather resistance, and elasticity have been added.
Discover the excellent properties of fluoropolymer coatings, and Shine Craft will solve your problems!
The characteristics of fluoropolymer resins include "non-stickiness," which makes it difficult for substances to adhere; "low friction coefficient," which allows for easy sliding; "electrical properties," such as anti-static and static prevention; "heat resistance," usable over a wide range from 260°C to -260°C; "non-wettability," which repels water and oil; and "chemical resistance," which prevents erosion by chemical solutions. Moreover, materials that can be coated with fluoropolymer resins include various metals such as aluminum, iron, stainless steel, copper, and brass, as well as a variety of other materials like glass, ceramics, rubber, and plastics. We have also increased our processing achievements for materials that have been difficult to process in the past, such as silicone rubber, ceramics, and plastics, by using our special undercoating treatment. There may still be opportunities for "that material" you were about to give up on. ◆ Inquiries ◆ When making an inquiry, it would be helpful to provide the following information for a smoother process: 1. The properties of the substrate to be coated (material, shape, size, etc.) 2. The purpose of the coating (e.g., non-stickiness, chemical resistance, slip properties, etc.) 3. Usage conditions (e.g., temperature, chemicals, wear conditions, etc.) * If possible, providing drawings would be beneficial for estimating costs.

If you are troubled by corrosion from acids and alkalis, use Shine Kogei's Blue Armor!
"Blue Armor" is a fluororesin coating that excels in chemical resistance and corrosion resistance. It protects the base material from corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis. For chemical equipment such as tanks and piping, regular inspections and on-site repairs can be performed as needed. 【Blue Armor Adoption Achievements】 - Oil plant equipment (approximately 15 years) - Sulfuric acid concentration device (approximately 10 years) - Dilute hydrochloric acid reaction tank (approximately 20 years) - Semiconductor manufacturing equipment (supplied for over 10 years)
Developed a new Teflon that combines wear resistance and peel resistance!
Fluororesin has excellent non-stick properties, lubricity, solvent resistance, and chemical resistance, and rolls coated with it are used in many industrial fields. Nomura Coating Co., Ltd. has developed fluororesin-coated rolls with a special coating (patented) and has achieved many results. 【Features】 ○ Has strong wear resistance ○ Thick coating is possible (up to 120μm application) ○ Increased hardness and rust prevention effect due to special plating on the substrate ○ Further improved wear resistance through jaguar roll and tiger roll processing ○ Application to large diameter and long rolls is also possible (φ1,800mm×10,000mm) For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
High durability, high lubricity, long-term rust and corrosion resistance! Fluororesin coating that supports the field in harsh corrosive environments.
"Takecoat-1000" is a fluororesin coating that forms a thin film with a thickness of approximately 30 to 80 μm, making it suitable for fitting components. Due to the high lubricity of the fluororesin coating, the tightening and loosening of bolts and nuts become smoother, improving work efficiency. Additionally, it exhibits an astonishing anti-corrosion performance of 6,000 hours in a salt spray test, which evaluates rust and corrosion resistance. 【Features】 ■ High rust prevention performance ■ Excellent heat resistance and refrigerant resistance ■ Minimal damage or peeling of the coating ■ Two-layer structure with a base coat and top coat ■ Protective effect: 10 years outdoors *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
Is there anything like the rubber not slipping or making noise?
Fluororesin coating can also be applied to rubber materials. Due to the effects of the coating, the surface becomes low-friction. By becoming low-friction, it improves sliding properties, makes movement smoother, eliminates squeaking sounds during sliding, and makes assembly of parts easier, among other benefits.
Shortest half-day estimate / SUS304 / Wire processing / Fluororesin (Teflon) coating
Introduction of processed parts achievements! 〇 Material: SUS304 〇 Processing method: Wire processing 〇 Surface treatment: Fluororesin (Teflon) coating These are wire-processed products made from SUS304. Wire processing allows for high-precision machining even for complex shapes. It enables the creation of products without knife R that cannot be processed with end mills, and by moving the upper and lower wires separately, taper shapes can also be machined. It is also possible to apply key grooves or finish with gear-cutting shapes. For surface treatment, a fluororesin (Teflon) coating is applied, which possesses properties such as non-stick, slip resistance, insulation, wear resistance, heat and cold resistance, etc. In this way, our company can provide one-stop solutions for processing, treatment, and inspection. We have production achievements in various industries, including industrial machinery, semiconductors, electronic devices, machine tools, printing machinery, construction machinery, etc. We specialize particularly in small quantities of various types, prototype parts, and development parts. We can handle everything from metals to plastics! Please leave the cutting processing of prototype and development parts to us. For company information and product details, please refer to the catalog available for download below, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
