I will explain the principles of heat, such as why the shade of a flat roof is hot and why the shade of a tree is cool!

Why is it that the shade of a corrugated roof is hot while the shade of a tree is cool, even though the wind passes through and the temperature remains the same? The answer is "radiant heat."
