We would like to introduce an example of heat mitigation improvements for the factory warehouse roof and west wall. "There was a challenge of heat accumulating inside the building during the summer, making it uncomfortable for workers, and we wanted to implement heat mitigation measures." To address this, we installed high-performance aluminum heat-shielding sheets on the roof and walls with the image of making the entire building extremely shaded, preventing solar radiation heat from entering the interior. As a result, the temperature under the roof in the untreated area was 51°C, while in the treated area it was 29°C, achieving a difference of 22°C. We will introduce improvements in heat countermeasures and energy-saving examples for paint drying ovens. "There is a problem where the indoor temperature in summer is hot, and we want to implement heat countermeasures. We also want to save on fuel." This was the challenge we faced. As a solution, we applied high-temperature heat-insulating sheets to the paint drying oven. (The installation was carried out by the customer.) As a result, the surface radiation temperature of the oven was reduced from 130°C to 30°C, achieving a decrease of 100°C. By reducing the radiant heat loss from the oven surface, fuel savings were also achieved. Furthermore, the internal temperature of the oven increased by 20°C during winter, leading to improved productivity! As a result, the surface radiation temperature of the furnace was reduced from 120°C to 40°C, achieving a decrease of 80°C. This reduction in radiant heat loss from the furnace surface also led to energy savings in fuel consumption. As a heat mitigation measure, we would like to introduce a case where heat insulation work was carried out at the service areas of four stores of Honda Cars Saga Co., Ltd. The heat insulation sheets were cut to match the width of the H-beams. Lightweight steel frame materials were inserted into the gaps of the tight frame with spacing, and secured in place using clips and adhesive to prevent movement. After that, the heat insulation sheets were laid over the lightweight steel frame materials, with each subsequent sheet slightly overlapping the edge of the previous one.
