[Luminar Star Construction Case] Painting Shop Warehouse

Construction on the half-roof has been completed! Upon verification of the results, a temperature difference of 16.7°C was detected on the backside.

This is an introduction to a case where the thermal insulation and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it, was used. In this instance, rust removal and high-pressure washing were performed on the painting surface of a "painting shop warehouse" located in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, and two days later, Luminastar painting work was carried out on the half-roof. Upon later verification of the results, a temperature difference of 16.7°C was detected, with the unpainted area reaching 40.9°C compared to the painted area at 24.2°C. [Case Overview] ■ Location: Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture ■ Construction Process - April 14: Rust removal and high-pressure washing of the painting surface - April 16: Luminastar painting work *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Luminar Star] Wooden 3-Story Detached House

The difference is minus 23°C! We measured the temperature changes in the attic space before and after painting.

This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective paint "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. This time, the application was done on the roof of a three-story wooden house located in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. We measured the temperature changes in the attic space and the indoor temperature of the third floor (without air conditioning) before and after the Luminastar application. As a result, the maximum attic temperature during the day before the application exceeded 60°C, while after the application, it reached a maximum of 38°C, showing a difference of minus 23°C. [Case Overview] - Location: Roof of a three-story wooden house in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture - Method: Installed HIOKI temperature loggers in the attic and third-floor interior to measure temperature - Measurement Period: July 8 to August 2 *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Keihan Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. Fumin Coating Business

It has a property that is resistant to thermal cracking and high hardness, making it difficult to scratch, with a durability of about 10 years!

We offer "Humic Coating," which forms a transparent film on glass surfaces using a spray gun to evenly apply conductive metal oxides that absorb and cut infrared and ultraviolet rays. By cutting approximately 70% of the infrared rays that cause heat, it helps reduce thermal load from air conditioning and contributes to energy savings and CO2 reduction in offices, factories, and stores, thus aiding in both the prevention of global warming and cost reduction. Additionally, it cuts about 90% of ultraviolet rays, protecting skin health and preventing discoloration and deterioration of indoor spaces caused by sun exposure. 【Characteristics of Humic Coating】 ■ Cuts 90% of ultraviolet rays and 70% of infrared rays ■ Visible light transmittance of approximately 80% ■ Suppresses the arrival of pests ■ Saves heating costs *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Insulating paint GAINA

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency has successfully developed a coating by applying insulation technology and turning a very special ceramic into paint, making it usable as a building material!

The coating of Gainar, when exposed to heat, converts that heat very efficiently into far infrared rays and continues to radiate them. Far infrared rays have the property of transferring radiant heat from the hotter area to the cooler area, thereby equalizing the temperature. By utilizing this property, the Gainar coating can instantly respond to the temperature of the surrounding environment. The condensation prevention effect of Gainar is that condensation generally occurs when heat from the air moves to surfaces like walls. Heat always moves from a higher temperature to a lower temperature when there is a temperature difference, which is why condensation occurs on surfaces like walls that are cooler than the indoor air temperature during winter. When Gainar is applied, the painted surface approaches the same temperature as the indoor air, reducing the temperature difference and effectively suppressing the occurrence of condensation.

The difference is minus 30.6°C! Measurements of the temperature in the ceiling space of the store and the outside air temperature were conducted.

This is an introduction to a case study conducted using the heat-insulating and heat-reflective coating "Luminastar," which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer just by applying it. We measured the space temperature in the ceiling area of the store before and after the application of Luminastar, as well as the outside air temperature. The surface temperature of the uncoated part of the semi-roof reached 60.6°C, while the coated part was at 30.0°C, resulting in a verified difference of minus 30.6°C. Additionally, during the hours when the outside temperature rises (from 11 AM to 3 PM), we found that the temperature in the ceiling space showed a difference of minus 17°C to 21°C. [Case Overview] - Location: A certain food supermarket in Osaka Prefecture (one-story building) - Ceiling area: 3,265 m² - Duration: - Painting work: May 24 to June 4 - Verification period: May 24 to June 7 (daytime ceiling space temperature changes) - May 12 to June 13 (24-hour ceiling space temperature changes) *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
