[Case Study] Crankcase for Engine / Drying Process After Painting
A case where a labor cost reduction of 5,760,000 yen was achieved through a conversion of 3,000 yen/hour × 1,920 hours!
We introduced our induction heating device into the drying process after painting the crankcases for engines in a case study from the automotive manufacturing industry. We aimed to shorten the drying process and reduce the labor hours of the staff involved. As a result, the previously time-consuming drying process transformed into a production environment that is almost unmanned. This achieved a reduction of approximately 1,920 hours of operational time per year and a decrease in labor costs. 【Case Overview】 ■Initiatives - Introduced our induction heating device into the drying process after painting the crankcases for engines - Shortened the drying process and reduced the labor hours of the staff involved ■Results - The time-consuming drying process changed to a production environment that is almost unmanned - Reduced operational time by approximately 1,920 hours per year This translates to a labor cost reduction of 5,760,000 yen (3,000 yen/hour × 1,920 hours) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
