We support repair work and utilization projects for cultural properties using 3D digital technology, including modernization, preservation and utilization of industrial heritage, and maintenance and management surveys of tunnel walls.
Using digital technologies such as 3D laser scanning, we support the repair and utilization of valuable cultural heritage structures, including stone walls. The 3D laser is a measuring instrument that can obtain extensive three-dimensional position coordinates and color information in a short time from a distance. Therefore, it allows for the rapid recording of the shapes and displacement measurements of large structures such as bridges and dams, as well as modern heritage sites. We also utilize high-resolution handheld scanners to create scaled models using 3D printers. 【Examples (excerpt)】 - Nogi Town Brick Kiln, Manda Pit → Shape recording, creation of general drawings → For detailed recording of damage conditions, aerial photogrammetry using a remote-controlled helicopter - Gunkanjima (listed on the World Heritage Tentative List) → Using 3D lasers and an omnidirectional panorama shooting system to record three-dimensional information of the reduced shape and collect images. Understand the accurate output and realize payment based on output for craftsmen.
The progress status on-site can be checked using a tablet computer (sub-device), while the aggregation and assessment of work completed will be conducted on the company’s computer (main device). This allows for accurate understanding of the completed work, enabling appropriate billing to the main contractor and payments to subcontractors. <Work Touch Sub-Device> By touching the construction location on the tablet screen (blueprint), the construction details and estimated quantities will be displayed. Users can input quantities or rates according to progress and perform the work of attaching completed work. By sending the inputted work completion information back to the main device, the progress status can be updated in real-time. <Work Touch Main Device> The Work Touch main device collects and verifies the data (work completion and daily reports) sent from the sub-device, and conducts confirmation and assessment tasks. The aggregated data can be output in Excel format, categorized by month, company, and team, making billing to clients and payment assessments to subcontractors much faster. <Work Touch Sub-Device> In addition to the estimated information read, the Work Touch sub-device allows users to register defective work, damages, and repair locations confirmed on-site by pinning them on the screen (blueprint). Users can also take photos of defective work on-site and associate them with the registered pins.

Why not switch from traditional methods to drones?
Drone inspections can address not only the inspection of building exteriors but also surveying and situations where there are no blueprints for old buildings. Drone surveying involves using drones to measure the area and shape of land from above, converting that data into blueprints, or calculating the accumulation of specific areas. In traditional methods, workers had to carry surveying equipment and walk around to measure all necessary points, which resulted in long work periods and high time and cost expenses. However, drone surveying significantly reduces both time and costs and can accommodate large areas of land or difficult terrains where human access is challenging. If you would like to know more details or specific examples, please feel free to contact us.
We have achieved further miniaturization of pressure-resistant explosion-proof containers made of plastic compared to conventional ones.
Easy Input with Barcodes The wave of systematization using barcodes is now sweeping not only the familiar product distribution industry but also factory FA applications. In today's highly information-oriented era, data obtained through barcodes is gaining attention as an excellent input method that is "accurate," "fast," and "easy for anyone to use." This systematization through barcodes has achieved simplicity and integration in managing individual information, expanding its application fields across various industries. Can be used in hazardous areas The pressure-resistant explosion-proof laser scanner EX-BCR-1, designed for use in hazardous locations, has achieved lightweight construction using plastic for the first time in our country. Its reading performance, utilizing non-contact visible light lasers with a large reading depth, contributes to system integration as a key to promoting FA in hazardous locations.
Ground-based 3D laser measurement equipment for i-construction, structural inspection and repair, and plant maintenance management.
Using a scanner known as TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanner), laser beams are emitted to acquire three-dimensional point cloud data (a collection of three-dimensional points) of the measurement target. This non-contact, non-prism method allows for the acquisition of a large amount of point data, with each point in the point cloud assigned three-dimensional coordinate values (X, Y, Z), color (R, G, B), and the reflectivity of the laser from the measurement target. Measurements that would take about a week with a Total Station (TS) can be completed in just a few minutes with TLS.
