The laser emitted from a scanner, also known as a TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanner), is used to obtain three-dimensional point cloud data (a collection of three-dimensional points) of the measurement target. It can acquire a large amount of point data in a non-contact, non-prism manner, and each point in the point cloud is assigned three-dimensional coordinate values (X, Y, Z), color (R, G, B), and the reflectivity of the laser from the measurement target. Measurements that would take about a week with a Total Station (TS) can be completed in just a few minutes with TLS.

The TDOT series features a high-performance GNSS/INS integrated navigation system, enabling a seamless process from flight to surveying and point cloud data output. The long-awaited laser scanner system "TDOT 7 NIR" has been born, equipped with high-precision real-time positioning analysis using LTE wireless communication and the addition of temperature information to point cloud data through a visible camera and a thermal imaging camera. ■Seamless Kinematic Processing The TDOT series provides a system that automates optimal trajectory analysis using electronic reference points and fixed stations, which require expertise, and seamlessly constructs a series of tasks up to point cloud data output. ■Equipped with a visible light camera (standard) and a thermal imaging camera (optional) The visible light camera can generate orthophotos and add color information to point cloud data. The thermal imaging camera detects temperature information that cannot be distinguished in 3D point clouds. This visualizes relationships, features, and trends that were previously unseen.

Drone Laser Scanner System "TDOT 3 GREEN"

A lightweight green laser system that is resistant to water absorption and capable of underwater surveying, suitable for surveying mountainous areas, river regions, and coastal areas.

In general drone laser surveying, near-infrared laser light is used. While near-infrared is inexpensive and easy to handle, it is easily absorbed by water and has a low reflectivity on black objects, which can result in a lack of surface data depending on the ground conditions as well as the underwater terrain. The TDOT 3 GREEN uses green laser light, which has a wavelength that can overcome the weaknesses of near-infrared. Like near-infrared, it can also be used for land surveying, allowing the TDOT 3 GREEN to perform both terrestrial and underwater terrain surveys with a single unit. ■ Seamless Kinematic Processing The TDOT series provides a system that automates optimal trajectory analysis using electronic reference points and fixed stations that require expertise, seamlessly integrating the entire process up to point cloud data output. ■ Real-Time Display of Survey Data The cross-sectional data during the survey can be checked in real-time, allowing for monitoring whether the surveying work is being conducted as planned.
