3D laser scanner long-range type
Ground-based 3D laser measurement devices for i-construction, structural inspection and renovation, and plant maintenance management.
The laser emitted from a scanner, also known as a TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanner), is used to obtain three-dimensional point cloud data (a collection of three-dimensional points) of the measurement target. It can acquire a large amount of point data in a non-contact, non-prism manner, and each point in the point cloud is assigned three-dimensional coordinate values (X, Y, Z), color (R, G, B), and the reflectivity of the laser from the measurement target. Measurements that would take about a week with a Total Station (TS) can be completed in just a few minutes with TLS.
