CdTe

Cadmium telluride nanocrystals in organic solvents

High-quality cadmium telluride (CdTe) quantum dots for solar cell applications. Compared to conventional silicon solar cell modules, these nanocrystals can be coated on thin, flexible substrates to reduce overall size and cell mass, making them particularly interesting for those researching and developing thin-film solar cells. Furthermore, by employing nanosized particles, it is possible to capture the same level of sunlight with a smaller amount of material. Cadmium telluride (CdTe) quantum dots possess the same level of functionality as other products with excellent size distribution, high stability, and quality.

CdSe Nanocrystals

Quantum dots/cadmium selenide nanocrystals

Cadmium selenide nanocrystals are well-known single-crystal semiconductor nanoparticles that function as quantum dots. The uniqueness of these quantum dots arises from the fact that their optical and electrical properties vary with particle size, and they offer flexible processing possibilities. The size of these quantum dots ranges from 2 to 7 nanometers, and they possess optical properties across the entire visible spectrum (from blue to red). Typical cadmium selenide quantum dots are inorganic semiconductors coated with organic ligands on their surfaces. These ligands enable the stability, solubility, and processability of these nanocrystals in solvents. Quantum dots absorb a wide range of light and emit limited light. This property allows for the emission of true colors at specific wavelengths when excited by a broad spectrum of light. The luminescent potential of quantum dots is determined by the quality and size distribution of the nanocrystals in the solvent.

Magnetic Iron Oxide

Iron oxide nanocrystals with excellent size and size distribution characteristics.

Iron oxide nanocrystals utilize the strong magnetic properties of iron oxide and are incorporated into nanosized materials. The iron oxide nanocrystals provided by NN-Labs achieve excellent size and size distribution characteristics to enable their use in high-level applications that require strict control over the properties and features of the nanocrystals. These high-quality iron oxide nanocrystals exhibit exceptional magnetic properties as they approach pure bulk iron oxide, and furthermore, they have the ability to be biologically functionalized in numerous applications. NN-Labs' iron oxide products can be provided in a stored state in non-polar solvents or water, or in powder form.

CdS Nanocrystals

Quantum dots / Cadmium sulfide nanocrystals

Cadmium sulfide nanocrystals are single-crystal semiconductor nanoparticles that are also well-known as quantum dots. The uniqueness of these quantum dots arises from the fact that their optical and electrical properties vary with particle size, as well as from the flexibility of processing possibilities. The size of these quantum dots ranges from 2 to 7 nanometers, and they possess optical properties across the ultraviolet to blue wavelength range. Typical cadmium sulfide quantum dots are inorganic semiconductors coated with organic ligands on their surfaces. These ligands enable the stability, solubility, and processability of these nanocrystals in solvents. Unlike organic dyes, quantum dots absorb a wide range of light and emit limited light. This property allows for the emission of true colors at specific wavelengths by exciting them with a broad spectrum of light. The luminescent potential of quantum dots is determined by the quality and size distribution of the nanocrystals in the solvent.
