A non-stick coating that allows adhesive tape to be easily peeled off with a 1μm thin film.

Nano Process (R) TLS-200 allows for non-stick coating while maintaining high surface precision with a thin film coating of approximately 1μm.

The "Nano Process (R) TLS-200" has almost no thickness due to the coating, so there is little need to consider the thickness of the coating, allowing for effects such as non-stick, water-repellent, and oil-repellent properties. Even with sharp substrates like blades, processing can be done while maintaining their shape, enabling surface modification of components in a wide range of industries, including production equipment transport lines and packaging processes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. ▼ Here is the official Yoshida SKT website for "Nano Process (R)" ▼

[Surface Treatment Case] Surface treatment that streamlines the manufacturing process of lithium-ion batteries.

Prevention of adhesion of adhesive tape used in lithium-ion battery manufacturing. Achieving both extended maintenance periods and prevention of line stoppages with surface treatment suitable for cutting tools.

We would like to introduce a case study on the improvement of cutting equipment for insulation tape used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries. ■ Key Issues - Problems arose when adhesive material adhered to the cutting blade, causing the line to stop. - The blade type is a shear type with two blades, similar to scissors. - To prevent line stoppages, frequent cleaning was required, which decreased production efficiency. ■ Selection Process - We wanted to perform surface treatment using commercially available blades. - It was necessary to select a surface treatment that does not change the cutting performance. - A long-lasting surface treatment was needed to prevent line stoppages and reduce cleaning frequency. ■ Effects of Coating - It was possible to strip the original surface treatment of commercially available blades for processing. - Adhesive adhesion was eliminated, reducing the labor required for cleaning. - Preventing line stoppages and the need for line stoppages for cleaning became unnecessary. Non-stick coating on blades contributes to improved productivity, cost reduction, and enhanced safety. We also have a collection of case studies and trial sets for improvements in the cutting process. ▽ Click here to apply for the collection of cutting process improvement case studies and trial sets ▽

Prevent blade troubles in production equipment! Non-stick coating

Adhesive problems with blades that occur in production equipment, such as cutting adhesive films and tapes. Solved with a non-stick coating for the blade.

Are there any issues with adhesive sticking to the "cutting blades" of production equipment, impairing cutting performance or contaminating products? ■ Obstacle to Automation For process automation, it is essential that no human intervention is required and that operations are continuous. If phenomena occur where adhesive materials adhere to the blades, it becomes difficult to automate that line. ■ Increased Cleaning Frequency If frequent cleaning of the blades is necessary, production may not be achievable within the expected time frame, leading to decreased production efficiency. Additionally, increased working hours due to cleaning can raise costs and heighten concerns about worker safety. ■ Adhesion to Products, Product Contamination If adhesive or materials stuck to the blades adhere to the next product being cut, it can result in defective products or necessitate repairs in subsequent processes. Furthermore, if the cutting blades become dull, it can disrupt the cutting shape and cause issues. Yoshida SKT offers coatings that can resolve such troubles. ▽ Click here to apply for a collection of case studies on cutting process improvements and a trial set ▽

Improving the efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing lines! Solving problems with non-stick coatings.

Improving manufacturing line efficiency! Solving sticking problems with non-stick "MRS coating."

This manufacturer was facing a problem in the manufacturing process of pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory adhesive patches (wet compresses), where products were sticking to the transport equipment, leading to line stoppages and product defects. The product consists of a three-layer structure, with an effective ingredient-containing paste layered on a supporting substrate and a release film. This paste was coming into contact with the transport guide, causing adhesion, which resulted in line stoppages and product bending defects. In response, we proposed the "MRS Coating," which excels in non-adhesiveness. This coating is effective even against adhesives like those found in duct tape. As a result of evaluations conducted with actual products and samples, it was confirmed that there was no sticking, and it was adopted for use in the actual machines. As a result, the sticking issues were eliminated, leading to a reduction in defective products, an improvement in the good product rate, and a decrease in maintenance time associated with line stoppages. Are you facing similar issues? The "MRS Coating" may contribute to improving the efficiency of your manufacturing line. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Non-stick coating

A resin with extremely excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, and electrical properties! Fluororesin processing boasts a significant market share.

The so-called "non-stick" effect represented by the surface treatment of frying pans is the effect of fluoropolymer (Teflon), which is characterized by "release properties and non-stickiness." Once fluorine bonds, it transforms into a property that "does not allow other substances to stick" after formation. This can be described as the non-stick action of fluorine. Compared to other synthetic resins, it possesses unique properties, resulting in a wide range of applications. 【Examples of Characteristics】 ■ Chemical resistance ■ Electrical properties: Due to the structure of fluorine, it is non-polar, and the electrical effects on the resin surface are consistently extremely low, making its insulation resistance and breakdown strength particularly excellent among plastic resins. ■ Heat resistance: Generally boasts a wide range of heat resistance from -100 to +260°C. ※ There may be variations depending on the type of fluoropolymer. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Non-stick coating

It has a very large contact angle compared to other resins, making it difficult to wet, and is used as a non-stick coating.

The representative characteristic of fluororesin, its non-stick properties, is primarily due to the absence of chemical bonding sites and reactive groups in its molecular structure, making it extremely stable under various environmental conditions.

[Case Studies] 15 Common Concerns: 9 Non-Stickiness

Recommended for those struggling with adhesion! We solve metal problems with surface treatment.

In industrial products, molds are used to shape materials such as plastics and rubber. However, to mold materials with high stickiness, it is necessary to apply a coating with excellent release properties to the mold surface. Current measures include treatments such as Teflon coating, but these have issues such as durability problems (low film hardness). This collection of case studies includes examples of problem-solving, such as the adoption of the "Protonix System," which is also suitable for improving stickiness. [Published Examples] <before> ■ In a heat welding mold for office supplies, conventional Teflon tape was used, but it lacked durability, leading to adhesion and thread pulling issues. <after> ■ Non-stick properties improved significantly, and the defect rate drastically decreased. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
