Prevent sticking of adhesive substances! Non-stick coating

Achieving ultra-non-stick properties that do not allow various adhesives to adhere! A surface treatment technology that shows good adhesion to various metals and rubber.

The "KP-10 Series" is a coating that exhibits release properties due to a silicone-like substance covering the surface through a compound reaction. It is highly resistant to physical tack, demonstrating release properties with adhesive materials such as tape, and shows higher non-stickiness compared to fluororesin coatings. Additionally, because the surface layer does not separate and exhibits release without adhering to the opposing side, it has higher durability compared to other release coatings. 【Features】 ■ Possesses ultra non-stick performance effective for various adhesives ■ The coating film does not separate, ensuring high performance durability ■ Shows good adhesion to various metals and rubber The KP-10 Series consists of three types, each differing in non-stick performance and surface roughness. Technical documents detailing the characteristics of each series are currently available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Water-repellent, oil-repellent, non-stick coating "OF Coat"

It contributes to improving the release properties of hard-to-remove resin molds and reducing adhesion of O-rings and rubber seals.

"OF Coat" activates the substrate through plasma irradiation, and forms a strong bond with the substrate through siloxane bonds with fluorine-based silane coupling agents, resulting in a highly adhesive coating that possesses water-repellent, oil-repellent, and non-stick properties. The film thickness is extremely thin at just a few nanometers, improving the wear resistance that was a drawback of conventional fluororesin coatings, and expanding applications in areas such as blades that were difficult to utilize due to film thickness, as well as release effects for precision molds and rubber molds. It is emerging as a next-generation water-repellent, oil-repellent, and non-stick coating. 【Types】 ■ OF Coat Standard Type ■ OF Coat S Type (High-Temperature Resistant Type) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Preventing Roll Wrapping During Transport with Anti-Sticking Coating

Prevented the entanglement of transport rolls during the conveyance of products coated with hot melt adhesive.

We would like to introduce a case of surface treatment that solved troubles in the application process of hot melt adhesive. A certain customer's product is manufactured by bonding a surface material (film) with insulation material using hot melt adhesive. Since the product with applied adhesive could stick to the conveyor rollers during transport and cause entanglement, a petroleum-based release agent was previously applied to the rollers as a countermeasure. However, complaints arose in the market due to the residual release agent on the product. There was a need for a countermeasure to prevent roller entanglement that could replace the application of the release agent. Therefore, we adopted our 'Super Alloy Coating'. After approximately two years of use, there have been no troubles such as roller entanglement, and of course, complaints regarding the adhesion of the release agent in the market have also disappeared. [Key Points] - Purpose of surface treatment: Quality and operational stability - Required functions: Non-stick, release properties, wear resistance - Treatment adopted: Super Alloy Coating *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Non-stick Coating to Prevent Resin Adhesion on Heating Plates

Non-stick coating on the hot plate prevents sticking! Reducing work loss by speeding up the fusion process. Case study on surface treatment in the thermal welding process of resin.

We would like to introduce a case study that addresses the challenges faced by customers struggling with resin adhesion to hot melt plates. ■Problem In the process of bonding resin parts such as ASA, ABS, and PC for automotive component manufacturing through hot melting, the target resin is melted at approximately 180-210°C using a hot plate fixture (heat plate) for hot melting, and then bonded with another part. You were looking for a coating to prevent the phenomenon of the hot plate sticking to the resin or the melted resin stretching like threads during the hot melting process. ■Adopted Coating - FSR Coating ■Effects of Adoption Compared to conventional PFA coatings, an improvement in the durability of the release effect when used at temperatures above 200°C and an increase in lifespan were observed. ■Case Summary - Purpose of Surface Treatment: Quality and operational stability, speed-up, reduction of work loss - Required Functions: Non-stick and release properties, heat and cold resistance, wear resistance - Adopted Treatment: FSR Coating (Fluoro Super Release) *For more details on the coating, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.

For applications that cannot be satisfied with fluorine or silicone! Non-stick coating.

Experience excellent non-stick properties for applications that cannot be satisfied with Teflon or silicone coatings! Anti-stick coating.

To prevent adhesion of sticky substances, fluoropolymer coatings (Teflon™ coatings) and silicone coatings are commonly used, but the following challenges may arise: [Challenge 1] Even with surface treatments claiming to prevent sticking, there was not much change. [Challenge 2] It started sticking unexpectedly quickly during use. [Challenge 3] Silicone coating transfers and causes defects in the bonding process (fluoropolymer did not provide sufficient effectiveness, leading to the choice of silicone). Recently, there has been an increase in customers needing solutions for more adhesive materials, such as wanting to release molten resins that do not fully solidify to shorten processing time. "Yoshida SKT has coatings that can improve such situations." With general fluoropolymer coatings, sticky substances can adhere due to various factors. In response, treatments that create a rough surface to reduce the contact area with sticky substances are known. Our company has a unique technology to create convex surfaces using fluoropolymer and is now offering a kit to experience its effects for free! ▼ You can apply from the official Yoshida SKT website below.

Prevents adhesion even with high-temperature adhesives! Strong against scratches and peeling - non-stick coating.

In general fluoropolymer coatings, it is difficult to prevent adhesion with high-temperature adhesives. Here are examples of coatings with excellent release properties and resistance to film damage.

■Concern The customer's adhesive manufacturer was producing various products by stirring and mixing adhesives in stainless steel beakers. During this process, the adhesive would stick to the inner walls of the beaker, preventing proper mixing, so a good non-stick coating was needed. ■Background The customer was already using a fluororesin coating. However, the stirring of the adhesive was conducted at high temperatures above 200°C, and issues arose where the coating would peel off due to contact between the beaker and the stirring blades, leading to contamination of the product with foreign substances. Therefore, they were looking for a coating that offered higher non-stick properties and was less likely to peel off due to scratches. ■Adopted Coating FSR (Fluoro Super Release) HR-3110R ■Adoption Process and Effects Initially, tests were conducted with CHC coat, which has high film hardness even at high temperatures, but some adhesion and film peeling occurred. Therefore, tests were conducted with FSR, which excels in non-stick properties in high-temperature environments. After testing with samples, the beaker was treated with "FSR HR-3110R." As a result, it exhibited non-stick properties that were incomparable to the fluororesin coating, and after about a month of use, there was almost no scratching or peeling of the coating, leading to its adoption.
