[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Buckingham Palace

Verification of the rust prevention effect of NMR pipe protector at Buckingham Palace in the UK! The iron ion concentration decreased significantly from 16.6 mg/L to 0.455 mg/L.

At Buckingham Palace, galvanized steel pipes (SGP pipes) are used for the air conditioning hot water piping and hot water supply piping, and some of the piping was updated due to deterioration from red rust. However, since most of the piping has not been updated, "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in both the air conditioning hot water piping and hot water supply piping to prevent red rust deterioration and extend the life of the piping. Water samples were taken from the circulating hot water before and after installation, and the reduction in iron ion levels in the water was used to verify the effectiveness of rust prevention. As a result, before installation, the iron content in the water of the air conditioning hot water piping was 16.6 mg/l, but after 24 days post-installation, it significantly decreased to 0.455 mg/l. 【Introduction Overview】 ■ Building Name: Buckingham Palace ■ Location: London ■ Building Overview: Completed in 1703, 304 years old, 775 rooms ■ Installation Date: January 12, 2007 ■ Installed Piping/Number of Installations: Air conditioning hot water piping/PT-100DS×1 unit, circulating hot water piping/PT-50DS×1 unit, circulating hot water piping/PT-30DS×1 unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] St. Ignatius Church

A case where it was confirmed that the red rust inside the piping is in a good condition and not dissolving in water!

St. Ignatius Church, also known as the Catholic Kojimachi Church, is a historic church adjacent to Sophia University that has existed since before the war. Four years ago, it was found that the red rust deterioration in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, which is 19 years old, was progressing. Therefore, an evaluation of the rust prevention effect of the "NMR Pipe Protector," a red rust prevention extension device, was conducted. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a sample of the circulating chilled and hot water was taken, revealing that the water was brownish in color. Water quality testing detected a total iron concentration of 240 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion within the piping. After installing the NMR Pipe Protector, a water sample was tested two weeks later, showing that the water had become almost clear, with the total iron concentration due to red rust reduced to 2.7 mg/l, a significant decrease. At the same time that the progression of red rust was halted, the surface red rust within the chilled and hot water piping and the red rust in the water transformed into inert black rust that does not dissolve in water. This provided verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector within the chilled and hot water piping. This result was featured in an article published on July 18, 2018, in issue 2737 of "Air Conditioning Times," which reported on the verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector at St. Ignatius Church.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)

Verification of rust prevention effects in the air conditioning piping of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)! Preventing the occurrence of new red rust and converting existing red rust to black rust, demonstrating the extension of piping lifespan.

At the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), which has been in operation for 53 years, the use of SGP pipes in the cooling water piping has led to frequent leaks and a very serious state of red rust deterioration in the piping. To prevent leaks caused by red rust deterioration and to extend the life of the piping, four "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in the cooling water systems of the Main Block Building and Stage 5 Building. In the Main Block Building, the iron content in the water before the installation of the product was 5.53 mg/l, but it significantly decreased to 0.048 mg/l after 32 days of installation, and further decreased to 0.06 mg/l after 57 days. In Stage 5 Building, the iron content in the water before installation was 3.8 mg/l, which decreased to 0.063 mg/l after 32 days and to 0.008 mg/l after 57 days. Additionally, there have been no occurrences of leaks after installation. The prevention of new red rust formation and the transformation of existing red rust in the piping to insoluble black rust in the water have resulted in a reduction of iron content, demonstrating that this cooling water piping can be extended to the lifespan of the building. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Windsor Castle

Preventing red rust deterioration of the hot water piping at Windsor Castle in the UK!

The hot water supply pipes used in Windsor Castle, owned by the British royal family and with a history of 900 years, utilize SGP pipes. To prevent red rust deterioration and extend the lifespan of the pipes, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed on January 24, 2007. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water in Room 107 was 3.32 mg/l, but 42 days after installation, it dropped to 0.007 mg/l. Additionally, the average iron content from two other sampling locations was 4.255 mg/l before installation, but decreased to 0.0105 mg/l after installation. This is significantly lower than the drinking water quality standard set by the UK, which is 0.2 mg/l. As a result, it has been demonstrated that the NMR Pipe Protector effectively prevents the occurrence of new red rust within the pipes and transforms existing red rust into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. By continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, the hot water supply pipes have completely eliminated internal red rust deterioration and, by preventing external corrosion, have become usable for as long as the building remains standing.

Acquisition of a US patent for pipe rust prevention, NMR pipe protector popular in the UK.

Introducing examples of the rust prevention effect of the "NMR Pipe Protector" in pipes in the UK!

The red rust prevention device for piping, "NMR Pipe Protector," has obtained patents and registrations in the United States and major countries around the world after undergoing rigorous patent examinations abroad regarding its practicality and other factors. On February 16, 2004, the first installation in the UK was at Addenbrooke's Hospital, affiliated with the University of Cambridge. The NMR Pipe Protector holds a patent in the UK and established its reliability through presentations at conferences related to "corrosion," leading to its installation upon recommendation from the University of Cambridge. The hot water pipes at Addenbrooke's Hospital experienced leaks due to bacterial corrosion and red rust deterioration just three years after the piping was updated. However, after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, red rust in the hot water piping made of galvanized steel was prevented in just 11 days. The iron ion concentration due to red rust in the hot water decreased from 1.07 mg/L before installation to 0.188 mg/L after 11 days, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/L. The transformation of red rust in the hot water pipes to black rust with a volume reduction to one-tenth confirmed the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector. Extending the life of apartment water supply pipes is achieved by converting red rust to black rust.

The piping internal red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" reduces red rust in the water supply pipes of apartments to insoluble and passive black rust, extending the lifespan of the building.

In addition to pipe rehabilitation, there is the "NMR method," which uses our internal rust prevention device, the "NMR Pipe Protector," to reduce red rust to insoluble and passive black rust. Vinyl-lined steel pipes are commonly used for condominium water supply (distribution) piping, where the straight sections do not deteriorate from red rust, but only the joints do. By converting this red rust to black rust, pipe replacement becomes unnecessary, reducing costs to 1/5 to 1/10. The NMR Pipe Protector utilizes free electrons in the water to convert internal red rust to black rust. Since the NMR Pipe Protector is installed on the outside of the pipes, it does not come into direct contact with the water inside, making it hygienic and safe. Through on-site surveys conducted by our technical workers, we can implement our product at suitable installation locations, enabling appropriate pipe rehabilitation throughout the entire piping system. The NMR method has obtained a patent as a groundbreaking pipe rehabilitation technique and has been recognized through research papers presented at the "Asia-Pacific Corrosion Society" and the "Japan Society of Corrosion Engineering." It has been highly evaluated for its water quality safety and has been adopted in many renowned hospital facilities around the world. The NMR Pipe Protector comes with a rust prevention effect guarantee, allowing for worry-free implementation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or contact us.*

The apartment water supply pipes are prone to leaks due to deterioration from red rust, and you won't notice until it's too late!

By protecting only the joint sections of the water supply pipes in the apartment with the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," pipe replacement is unnecessary.

The water supply pipes in buildings such as condominiums are made of vinyl-lined steel pipes, so the straight sections do not deteriorate, and only the joints experience red rust deterioration. Since there is no change in the color of the water coming from the faucet and no red water is produced, it is difficult to notice the red rust deterioration inside the pipes. Our company will first conduct an on-site inspection using an endoscope to investigate the condition of the red rust deterioration, and based on that, we will propose the introduction of the optimal "NMR Pipe Protector." With this product, it is possible to prevent red rust deterioration throughout the entire piping, including the joints. By introducing this product, it is possible to eliminate the need for costly pipe replacement expenses, which can be a significant financial burden for customers within limited repair budgets, and extend the life of existing pipes for over 40 years, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the pipes until the building's lifespan ends. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine introduces NMR pipe protectors to prevent piping red rust.

The management association of "Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine" has verified the prevention of red rust deterioration in water supply pipes using the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," ensuring long-term pipe longevity.

In the condominium "Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine," where the NMR Pipe Protector has been introduced, polyvinyl chloride lined steel pipes (VLP) were used for the water supply piping. Polyvinyl chloride lined steel pipes (VLP) refer to pipes that are internally coated with polyvinyl chloride. While the joints of the pipes are prone to red rust deterioration, the straight sections are excellent in durability and corrosion resistance, and are currently used in most buildings' water supply pipes. However, this water supply piping has high maintenance costs, and after several decades of installation, measures against water leaks due to red rust at the joints become necessary. Many water supply pipes experience issues such as red rust blockage at the joints, water leaks, and deterioration of water quality after twenty years. The NMR Pipe Protector converts red rust into black rust, resolving these issues. Unlike pipe replacement work, the NMR Pipe Protector can be installed without water service interruption, transforming the red rust inside the water supply pipes into black rust that strengthens the pipes. By introducing the NMR Pipe Protector, red rust becomes inert black rust, extending the lifespan of the pipes by over 40 years. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention, the Royal Bank of Scotland has introduced the NMR Pipe Protector.

The Royal Bank of Scotland confirmed the rust prevention and lifespan extension effects of NMR pipe protectors for air conditioning piping, reducing piping renewal costs to less than one-tenth.

As an example of the introduction of the "NMR Pipe Protector," we present the case of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Branch 250 had been in operation for 18 years and was facing issues with red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping. Due to the high costs of rust inhibitors and a shift towards environmental considerations, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed in the air conditioning hot water piping in March 2018. As a result of the installation, the iron content value from red rust in the hot water, which was 1.10 mg/L before installation, was re-examined 9 weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, revealing that the hot water was clear and the amount of dissolved iron in the hot water had decreased to approximately 1/3, or 0.41 mg/L. The progression of red rust within the piping also stopped, and the red rust had transformed from a surface state to black rust. The NMR Pipe Protector successfully resolved the issue of red rust dissolving into the water and halted its progression. There is now no longer a concern about the acceleration of piping deterioration due to red rust. Additionally, the coating from black rust has a reinforcing effect on the piping, and it is expected to extend the lifespan of the piping to match the lifespan of the building. *Customer feedback (customer testimonials) and other PDF materials are currently available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.

The NMR Pipe Protector was featured on the business program "Corporate Spirit."

There are over 4,200 installations! The red rust prevention device for pipes, "NMR Pipe Protector."

The piping anti-rust device "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced on the Tokyo MX business program "Corporate Spirit." This product has the function of transforming red rust into black rust. By reducing the size of water aggregates and utilizing free electrons in the water, it reduces red rust in the piping to black rust. While suppressing the occurrence of new red rust, it reduces existing red rust to black rust, thereby strengthening the piping itself. Black rust forms a dense film on the surface of iron, protecting it from red rust, which corrodes iron. It has been used as a rust preventive since ancient times and is still used today for coatings on iron products such as Nambu iron kettles and Chinese woks. This product leverages the advantages of black rust to extend the lifespan of piping. [NMR Pipe Protector Features] ■ Can fundamentally solve the red rust problem ■ Excellent cost performance ■ Installation work is small-scale (no need for water stoppage) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention, the BBC in the UK has introduced the NMR pipe protector.

Preventing red rust in the air conditioning pipes of the BBC in the UK, extending the life of the pipes by preventing leaks with the red rust prevention device 'NMR Pipe Protector'

The air conditioning piping in the main block building of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is 53 years old and has been experiencing leaks due to red rust deterioration. To avoid disruptions in program production during the pipe replacement work, a red rust prevention device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. The effectiveness of the NMR Pipe Protector in preventing red rust was verified in just about one month. Before installation, the iron content in the circulating water of the cooling water piping in the main block building was very high at 5.53 mg/L, indicating serious red rust deterioration. However, a water quality test conducted 32 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector showed a significant reduction to 0.05 mg/L, which is less than 1/100 of the previous value, confirming the rust prevention effect due to the black rust formation caused by the NMR Pipe Protector. In the Stage 5 building, the iron content was also very high at 3.80 mg/L before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, but after installation, it decreased to approximately 0.06 mg/L, which is about 1/63 of the previous value, completely preventing red rust deterioration in the cooling water piping. Even in the 53-year-old BBC building, the high effectiveness of red rust prevention has been proven to prevent leaks and extend the life of the piping. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
