To prevent red rust in piping, Nihon University College of Engineering has introduced the NMR Pipe Protector.
The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" achieves rust prevention and reinforcement of piping through the black rust transformation of red rust! It significantly reduces maintenance costs for water supply pipes.
At the Nihon University College of Engineering campus in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, the water supply pipes in several research buildings were significantly deteriorated due to red rust, resulting in red water coming from the taps on holidays and the following days. To reduce the future piping renewal costs by 1/5 to 1/10, a red rust prevention device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. The results of an inspection conducted one month after installation clearly demonstrated the excellent performance of the NMR Pipe Protector. The iron content in the water due to red rust decreased to less than 1/10 of the pre-installation level (from 7.8 mg/L before installation to 0.1 mg/L after installation). Originally, the iron content was at 7.8 mg/L, exceeding the water quality standard value of the Water Supply Act (0.3 mg/L), indicating a very serious progression of red rust. However, after installation, it was significantly below that standard value, proving the rust prevention effect through the blackening of red rust and the extension of pipe life. The water quality was remarkably restored to a hygienically satisfactory level. The NMR Pipe Protector is an exceptionally effective rust prevention device that saves energy in creating new piping, thereby reducing environmental burden. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Amazing Mechanism】 - The electromagnetic waves emitted from the device reduce red rust inside the pipes to black rust. - Black rust achieves rust prevention and reinforcement of the pipes. - There is no need for cleaning to remove red rust, protective resins for the inside of the pipes, or environmentally harmful rust prevention chemicals. - There are no consumable materials, and maintenance after installation is almost unnecessary. - The coating formed by the crystals of black rust is so strong that it can extend the lifespan of the pipes by over 40 years. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
