You can choose from two types: magnetic and optical.
【Magnetic Encoder】
Developed with the concept of "ultra-compact (φ13, 16) and high performance," this magnetic rotary encoder utilizes MR sensors to detect signals, which are then amplified by an IC, allowing for a wide range of resolution options. By integrating the design with the motor, it achieves ultra-compact dimensions while providing 3 channels, high resolution, and voltage differential output (MR-13, MR-16).
Featuring ultra-compact dimensions (φ8, 10, 13), 2 channels, and low pulse characteristics, this magnetic rotary encoder (MR-8, MH-10, MRS13) allows for downsizing of customer-designed enclosures by routing the lead wires in the axial direction. It can be combined with coreless motors of φ8, 10, and 13. A new magnetic encoder of φ8 has been developed to broaden its applications compared to the conventional φ8 and 10 series.
【Optical Encoder】
This rotary encoder adopts a reflective type equipped with light-receiving and light-emitting elements and a code wheel, enabling downsizing of customer-designed enclosures by routing the lead wires in the axial direction. Being optical, it can also be used in magnetic field environments.
