This is a case study of high-precision and high-functionality parts processing using fine blanking, a type of precision press processing (automotive parts / sprockets). A sprocket is a gear that transmits the rotation of a shaft to a chain or the rotation of a chain to a shaft, and high precision is required for the tooth profile. Fine blanking is characterized by "precision shearing," which achieves a shearing surface with excellent flatness and smoothness, eliminating the need for finishing processes such as machining. This feature meets the demand for high precision with high production efficiency and optimal cost.
