Exploration of reaction model equations from DSC data using AKTS/TK and TKsd.

A function to predict reactions at various temperatures and times, and a function to estimate lifespan from accelerated test data.

This document is a technical note explaining the exploration of reaction model equations from DSC data using AKTS/TK and TKsd. How is the reaction model of self-catalyzed reactions described? The AKTS_TK software includes a feature for exploring reaction models based on accelerated test data called AKTS_TKsd. Please take a look at the analysis results of the reaction model equations obtained using this feature. 【Published Data】 ■ Flowchart for analysis using the free model method and the model method ■ Isothermal conditions for DSC measurements are determined through isothermal simulation ■ Screen for reading accelerated test data ■ After calculating 66 types of reaction model explorations, a ranking table of the estimated reaction model equations will be displayed. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Model fitting of the decomposition reaction of DTBP + 20 wt% Toluene.

Calculate TMR24 in three ways! Predict data from analysis results obtained from measured data.

This document is a technical note explaining the model fitting analysis of the decomposition reaction of DTBP + Toluene 20wt%. Two exothermic peaks were separated into 1st_peak, 2nd_peak, and the combined 1st_peak + 2nd_peak to calculate TMR24 in three different ways. It is a common judgment that the TMR24 value should be analyzed using all peaks, but by comparing the three results, the same conclusion is reached. For details, please download and view from the published catalog. 【Published Data (Excerpt)】 ■ Peak separation of the two exothermic peaks in DTBP 20% / Toluene air atmosphere ■ Analysis using three data points from only the 1st_peak with the differential equivalent method ■ Analysis using data obtained by adding the 1st_peak and 2nd_peak ■ Activation energy was determined for both 1st_peak_only and 1st_peak + 2nd_peak ■ Predicted data at 0.001 K/min from the analysis results obtained from the 1st_peak only *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to thermal analysis using differential thermal balance - mass spectrometry (TG-MS).

You can overview the physical properties of new substances and materials in the research and development and quality control processes!

The "Differential Thermal Balance - Mass Analysis Device (TG-MS)" allows us to understand the weight changes associated with sample heating, measure differential thermal properties, and simultaneously identify the gas components released from the sample. "Thermal analysis" has the characteristic of being able to evaluate the physical and chemical changes occurring within a sample over a wide temperature range in a relatively short time, making it possible to overview the physical properties of new substances and materials for research and development as well as quality control. The fees vary depending on the measurement conditions, so please contact us first. 【Examples】 ■ Analysis of volatile components and pyrolysis gases from organic materials such as plastics and resins ■ Analysis of residual solvents, reaction intermediates, by-products of organic compounds, etc. ■ Measurement of desorption of adsorbed water and adsorbed organic compounds (contaminants) from inorganic materials and semiconductor materials ■ Investigation of structural changes accompanying the heating of various organic materials *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[High Temperature Edition] Presentation Materials for High-Precision Cp (Specific Heat at Constant Pressure) Measurement Seminar Giveaway!

We are offering materials with Japanese translations for a seminar on high-precision Cp (specific heat at constant pressure) measurement using Setaram's Calvet-type calorimeter, 3D sensors, and DSC!

Specific heat capacity is one of the fundamental and important physical properties utilized in material development and chemical engineering. By using Setaram's Calvet-type calorimeter and DSC equipped with a 3D sensor, it is possible to measure the Cp (specific heat at constant pressure) of various substances with high precision and under diverse conditions. In this seminar, we will introduce high-temperature Cp measurements (up to 1,600°C) using a thermal analysis device equipped with a 3D sensor and a drop-type calorimeter. 【Contents】 ■ Differences between general-purpose DSC sensors and 3D sensors ■ Cp measurements using DSC equipped with a 3D sensor - Tungsten - Fluoride salts - Silicates ■ Cp measurements using a drop-type calorimeter - MgTiO3 - Alumina - Mixed oxides *You can view the seminar materials with Japanese translations for free from the "Download" section below! We hope this will be useful for your company's material analysis and Cp (specific heat capacity) measurements.
