When tap water is poured into the tank, the dissolved gases are initially dispersed throughout the entire volume, but over time, the amount of dissolved gases at the bottom of the tank decreases due to the weight of the water. As the amount of disruptive gases for the ultrasound decreases, the cleaning efficiency improves. To stabilize the cleaning ability, the water poured into the tank is not used immediately; there is also a method that uses surfactants to evenly distribute the concentration of dissolved gases. However, we focused on eliminating the dissolved gases themselves. To forcibly remove dissolved gases from the water poured into the tank, we developed a microbubble generation device. As the water passes through this device, the dissolved gases are expelled as bubbles, much like wringing out a cloth. In this new product, the water in the tank is circulated by overflowing, and as it passes through the microbubble generation device installed along the path, the number of bubbles generated decreases significantly until the dissolved gases are reduced to a negligible state, at which point no bubbles are produced. Operating under these conditions eliminates factors that attenuate the ultrasound, allowing it to act directly on the items being cleaned, significantly improving cleaning efficiency.
