[Case Study of Membrane Introduction in Liquid] Food (Meat) Wastewater Treatment Equipment

The equipment is compact and easy to maintain, resulting in reduced labor costs! Introduction of a case study using a liquid membrane.

This is an introduction to a case where a liquid membrane was introduced into wastewater treatment equipment for food (meat) processing. In this facility, due to the increased burden on the wastewater treatment equipment, we addressed the issue by modifying the existing system to a membrane separation activated sludge method. Currently, the load fluctuates significantly due to differences in the ratio of production items and changes in production volume, but the treated water is clear and stable. The customer stores the treated water as local fire-fighting water, preparing for emergencies. Kubota Membrane conducts remote monitoring through a liquid membrane guarantee system and provides detailed support for daily maintenance. [Case Study] Kimchi Manufacturing Factory - Oil and Fat Decomposition Wastewater Treatment Facility

Efficiently decomposing fats and oils through the fat decomposition mechanism! Large processing equipment is no longer necessary.

We would like to introduce a case where we provided design, construction, and consulting for a grease decomposition wastewater treatment facility at a kimchi manufacturing plant. In this facility, we adopted a grease decomposition system as a pretreatment for biological treatment, which is unsuitable for high concentrations of grease. This system breaks down the grease into a form that is easier for biological treatment. For the biological treatment, we employed a contact aeration method that generates less excess sludge and is easier to maintain. In conventional treatment technologies, grease is difficult to decompose and can negatively impact microorganisms, making pretreatment of grease through grease traps and coagulation pressure flotation devices essential. By adopting the "grease decomposition system" as a solution to many issues, grease is decomposed, eliminating the need for large-scale treatment equipment. 【Case Overview】 ■ Facility: Kimchi Manufacturing Plant, Grease Decomposition Wastewater Treatment Facility ■ Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD): Influent 2000 → Effluent 230 ■ Normal Hexane Extractable Substances: Influent 150 → Effluent 15 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Alcy Method] Electrodeposition Coating Wastewater

Introducing a case study of the implementation of the Alcy method adopted by an automotive parts manufacturer!

We would like to introduce a case study of an automotive parts manufacturer that has adopted the technology of Japan Alcy. There were issues such as frequent floating sludge in the biological treatment tank due to unstable coagulation treatment. To stabilize the treatment, we proposed to classify the raw water into two systems: biological wastewater requiring BOD removal and inorganic wastewater not requiring BOD removal, and to change the flow for processing each accordingly. As a result, we were able to minimize fluctuations in raw water, stabilize the coagulation state, and process the wastewater without using the sludge settling agent that was previously used in biological treatment. 【Overview】 ■ Client: Automotive parts manufacturer ■ Type of wastewater: Electrodeposition painting wastewater ■ Volume of wastewater: 880t/month ■ Quality of raw water: BOD 50mg/L, COD 200mg/L, Zinc 10mg/L *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The factory wastewater treatment has a high load of BOD and oil content, but it cannot be expanded immediately.

We can provide cost-effective proposals such as temporary measures and partial equipment enhancements in the current state of wastewater treatment.

In food factories, the load can increase due to the production items and increased production, necessitating the acceptance and treatment of inflow water from the factory. To maintain the quality of the discharged water, emergency measures may also be required. For example: (1) Consideration of the use of coagulants and microbial materials (2) Temporary installation of aeration diffusers (3) Confirmation of the overall capacity of wastewater treatment equipment (capacity confirmation is possible regardless of the equipment manufacturer; if there is insufficient capacity, selection and proposals can be made) (4) On-site maintenance visits and maintenance responses through communication, etc. [Response Examples] - Projects constructed by other companies - Maintenance projects by other companies *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
