Covers of books/magazines, menus, POP displays, packaging for cosmetics and food, paper plates, envelopes (with windows), bags - for various purposes.
Feature 1: High biomass content and biodegradability (industrial composting)
It contains over 95% biomass raw materials, and by using it instead of petroleum-derived films, it contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. For example, when comparing the CO2 equivalent emissions generated from raw material to resin production under certain conditions per square meter of film molding, it is calculated to be about 54% less than PP. Additionally, it has been certified for biodegradability (industrial compostability) under the European standard EN13432.
Feature 2: Easy transition from petroleum-derived plastics
Generally, environmentally friendly materials often face challenges in processability and appearance, but the processability and appearance of BOPLA film are similar to those of petroleum-derived films, making the transition relatively easy.
Feature 3: Versatile applications
The applications are diverse. For example, for surface processing of printed materials, it can be used for laminating printed paper for book covers, menus, POP advertisements, packaging, windowed packaging, paper plates, trading cards, catering containers, and envelopes (with windows). Additionally, BOPLA film itself can also be used as bags.
