Structural Analysis Example: Plastic Processing

Ideal as a development and design tool! When performing plastic deformation analysis with "LS-DYNA," it is done using dynamic explicit methods.

In plastic processing analysis, the nonlinearity due to contact becomes a significant challenge, and the sudden large forces and friction that occur at the moment of contact are factors that complicate the convergence of the solution. For example, in sheet forming analysis, the contact forces between the blank material and the tool, as well as the contact forces of the draw bead that control the material flow, are the key points that control formability. Therefore, it is important to seek solutions efficiently, in addition to ensuring accuracy. When analyzing with "LS-DYNA," the explicit method allows for obtaining solutions without performing convergence calculations, making it possible to predict the required work hours, and it can be said to be suitable as a development and design tool. [Explicit Method for Analysis with LS-DYNA] - Allows for obtaining solutions without performing convergence calculations, enabling work hour predictions. - Suitable as a development and design tool. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*

Composite Material Molding Solutions: Case Study of PAM-COMPOSITES

Application of molding simulation to the manufacturing of high-performance sound-absorbing carpets!

This is a case study of a company engaged in the development and manufacturing of automotive interior components such as floor carpets. We provide details on how to utilize these components, solve challenges, and showcase achievements. How are you utilizing PAM-COMPOSITES? We primarily use the PAM-FORM module of PAM-COMPOSITES (hereafter referred to as PAMFORM) to assist in "improving the manufacturing process of floor carpets." What challenges are currently being faced in the improvement of the floor carpet manufacturing process? Since around 2010, the performance emphasized in floor carpets has shifted from "sound insulation" to "sound absorption." This has led to significant changes in the materials and manufacturing methods of carpets, resulting in many challenges. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Mazda's Case Study on the Implementation of Vibration and Noise Analysis Software 'VA One'

Creating a Quiet Car! Introducing Case Studies on the Use of Simulations for Noise Control Measures.

Mazda Corporation's NVH Performance Development Department analyzes sound and vibration, working on the realization and improvement of acoustics, vibration, and ride comfort. In our department, we use 'VA One' to evaluate the noise reduction effects of interior materials in their installed state. By changing parameters such as the arrangement, quantity, and material (sound absorption capacity) of sound-absorbing materials, we can simulate and assess the noise reduction effects of these materials based on the in-vehicle noise levels. This analysis employs a calculation method called SEA, which not only offers fast computation speeds but also allows us to understand the power propagation paths from external inputs, making it useful when considering the arrangement of sound-absorbing materials. 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ Fast computation speed ■ Ability to understand power propagation paths from external inputs ■ Effective when considering the arrangement of sound-absorbing materials ■ Contributes to achieving maximum sound absorption effects *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
