Challenges and Future Directions for Realizing Smart Security at Existing Power Plants - Trends in the Development of Carbon Recycling CO2 Geothermal Power Generation Technology, etc.
Our company will hold a seminar titled "Efforts by the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry to Expand the Introduction of Geothermal Power Generation."
To expand the introduction of geothermal power generation, improving the calendar day utilization rate through stable operations is an important issue in the operation of power plants. While geothermal power generation is often said to be a stable power source with little output fluctuation, there are actually significant losses in generation opportunities due to equipment troubles. This presentation will provide a detailed explanation of the software "GeoShink," developed under the NEDO project, which contributes to improving the calendar day utilization rate through labor-saving monitoring and analysis of geothermal power plants, along with actual application examples. Additionally, we will provide a detailed explanation of the latest trends in geothermal power generation technology, specifically the "Carbon Recycling CO2 Geothermal Power Generation Technology" being researched and developed under the JOGMEC project.
