Verify the implementation effects through simulation before introducing AGVs!

Support for small and medium-sized factories! We offer a simulation service to reduce the risks of robot implementation for companies considering automation of transportation.

Using our independently developed AGV operation management application, we will simulate the transportation results. <What can be understood from the simulation> - The number of units suitable for the user's site - The time required for the number of transports - Charging efficiency and more By identifying issues from the verification results, we can use this information to improve the layout of the equipment and the transportation routes.

[Development Case] AGV Automated Transport System

It can prevent labor reduction and delays in material delivery, contributing to increased productivity! Here are some examples from the manufacturing industry.

We would like to introduce a case study of a delivery management system that supplies materials for products manufactured in a factory using Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). The system centrally manages multiple AGVs, instructs delivery routes, monitors arrivals and departures, understands the operational status of the AGVs, and controls the transfer of materials with existing manufacturing equipment. After implementation, the use of AGVs helped reduce labor and prevent delays in material delivery, contributing to increased productivity. 【Case Overview】 ■Industry: Manufacturing ■Field: Delivery Management ■Development Environment - OS: Windows 10 - DB: CSV Files - Communication Method: FTP *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Muto Co., Ltd. [Case Study on the Introduction of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)]

The AGV assists with picking in conjunction with the warehouse management system! A virtual conveyor is realized.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system at Muto Co., Ltd.'s Tokyo SPD Center. Due to business expansion, we relocated to a new warehouse that is three times larger, which also increased the transportation distance for inbound and outbound goods by three times, leading to increased physical strain on workers. Additionally, amidst a societal labor shortage, there was a demand for improvements in automation and efficiency in operations. In response, we implemented our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system. After the implementation, the warehouse management system and AOS collaborated, allowing the AGV to lead to the picking items, thereby covering the differences in workers' abilities. Automated transportation during inbound and outbound processes was achieved, reducing the burden on workers. [Case Study] ■ Background of Implementation - Significant increase in the volume of handled goods amidst a labor shortage - Transportation distance tripled due to the move to the new center ■ Reasons for Selection - Does not hinder the delivery of supplies during disasters or power outages - Can be controlled in conjunction with the warehouse management system *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Unmanned transport vehicle "LowLift"

Even if the position is slightly off, we will look at the position and angle, slip in, lift it up, and transport it.

"LowLift" is an unmanned transport vehicle with a lift and a mecanum type. It recognizes the type of pallet from a 2D code attached to a detached cart. It also recognizes the position of the pallet, slides underneath it, and lifts it up. Then, it automatically transports the pallet along the shortest route to the designated process or location for each type. Additionally, it uses a technology called visual SLAM for navigation, and the map-based driving control software is developed in-house. 【Lineup】 ■Type R ■Type H *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Craftsman Cuts 2 Column] The Future of Smart Factories

Achieved through autonomous optimization via data control! Gradual smartification is effective.

This column, which is the final installment of the series "The Road to Smart Factories - 1," aims to envision the advanced form of smart factories. Many of you may have seen the scenes of unmanned factories. Notable examples include FANUC Corporation, where robots produce robots and servo motors, and Yaskawa Electric Corporation. In these factories, parts are replenished by Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and assembly is carried out by multi-joint robots, enabling 24-hour production. Within such factories, countless IoT sensors are deployed, and the operating and quality conditions are monitored and controlled by AI. *For more detailed content of the column, please refer to the related links. For further inquiries, feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] Unmanned Transport Vehicle

After implementation, I will introduce examples of unmanned transport vehicles that have reduced the number of personnel and improved work efficiency!

Here are examples of "unmanned transport vehicles." In outdoor AGVs, people were repeatedly going up and down between buildings, but after the introduction of AGVs, the workforce was reduced, and work efficiency improved. In the case of the loading conveyor type, fruits and pallets are transported on the upper side, and after the fruits are taken out, only the empty pallets are returned to the AGV using a two-tier conveyor, with a lift installed on the ground-level conveyor. 【Example Introduction】 ■ Outdoor AGV ■ Loading conveyor type ■ In-factory operation image (CG movie) ■ Line improvement case studies *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
