The characteristic of Motoyama Alloy Manufacturing: "Quality of Materials"

We deliver reliable products as a trusted material manufacturer!

The benefits that powder metallurgy technology has brought to humanity are such that it is not an exaggeration to say that today's technological days are built upon them. Motonami Alloy Manufacturing Co., as a manufacturer of carbide materials, considers it its mission to provide as many users as possible with the "benefits of carbide" in an appropriate manner. In this sense, "quality" is the most important proposition. We believe that high and stable quality can only be achieved through the accumulation of awareness and practice by everyone involved in the manufacturing process, and we face our daily operations with this belief. [Features] ■ Delivering reliable products consistently as a material manufacturer ■ Zero cost of quality loss For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.

What is carbide? The "processing risks" and the options that emerged during the in-house study session.

Knowledge reduces risks and increases options—lessons learned from carbide.

"What is Chokou?" - This simple question prompted us to hold a study session on cemented carbide within Bandai. We shared information on material properties such as hardness and ductility, processing risks, the challenges of tool selection, and even examples of how we have addressed these issues in our company. What I felt again during this session is that correctly understanding the properties of materials directly reduces the risk of failure during processing and leads to better decisions regarding optimal manufacturing methods. For example, in a previous order for a cemented carbide product, we assumed that "adhesion is impossible" and manufactured everything in cemented carbide, only to later learn about an alternative called "cemented carbide thermal spraying." If we had known the options from the beginning, it might have led to reduced costs and processing risks - it was an eye-opening experience. Next time, I will provide a detailed introduction to the actual case of "cemented carbide thermal spraying." *Such initiatives are just a small part of what Bandai does every day. Please take a look at the value we can offer to our customers.

【Irregular & Eccentric Pin】 Triangular Prism Reamer Material: Carbide Alloy

Special shape reamer made of ultra-hard alloy for equilateral triangles! Achieves high-precision hole finishing for brittle materials with high coaxial accuracy through one-chuck processing!

We would like to introduce the "Triangular Prism Reamer Pin" handled by Sanwa Creation Co., Ltd. It has been manufactured for hole processing in highly brittle materials where standard tools cannot be used. The cutting edge is in the shape of an equilateral triangle. Since the triangle is formed with a single chuck, the axial misalignment with the shank is within 1µm. Application: It is used for high-precision finishing of holes in the jewelry field. Orders can be placed in small lots, and detailed size specifications are also possible.
