Corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic carbide alloy

Non-magnetic superhard alloy

Conventional carbide materials have magnetic properties, albeit weak, making them difficult to use in press processing of magnetic materials and related equipment. However, we have completely resolved this issue by eliminating magnetism. Additionally, this carbide has a different composition from regular carbide, and the carbide formulated with this composition exhibits excellent corrosion resistance against salt and chemicals, as well as outstanding oxidation resistance at both low and high temperatures. At Silverloy, we offer a wide range of non-magnetic carbide materials that are not available from other companies. For more details, please refer to the material specifications.

Green sheet cutter Material: carbide alloy

This is a green sheet cutter made of ultra-hard alloy! Its high durability improves production efficiency and quality.

We would like to introduce the "Green Sheet Cutter" that adopts our uniquely developed ultra-fine particle ultra-hard alloy "MS Series." The ultra-hard alloy materials can be selected from MS2 as the standard material, MS4 which excels in wear resistance, and MS5 suitable for thicker laminated types. The fine crystal structure suppresses the occurrence of micro chipping. With high durability, it improves production efficiency and quality. 【Features】 ■ The fine crystal structure suppresses the occurrence of micro chipping ■ High durability improves production efficiency and quality *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Stack pins (positioning pins/small diameter pins) SKH51, carbide, etc.

Positioning pins/stacking pins (small diameter pins) to fix the workpieces so that they do not shift! Material: SKH51, SUS material, carbide, etc.

Before drilling the substrate, these are stack pins (positioning pins/small diameter pins) that are driven in when securing the entry board and backup board (bake board). The outer diameter ranges from Φ1 and the total length is approximately 8L. Chamfers can also be added to both sides of the pin. Precision: φ±0.005 (higher precision tolerances are also possible), outer diameter surface roughness Ra0.1 or less is achievable. Material: SKH51 (HRC60 or higher), SUS materials, carbide, etc. We can manufacture from small lots, so please feel free to consult with us.

[Processing Results] High Corrosion-Resistant Cemented Carbide

We would like to introduce "high corrosion-resistant cemented carbide," which significantly reduces corrosion compared to general corrosion-resistant cemented carbide!

One of the materials that Crystal Optics specializes in processing is "hard metal." This hard material has the disadvantage of being "hard" and "time-consuming to process," but it also has the advantages of being "easy to achieve machine precision" and "able to meet high mirror surface precision requirements." In high-precision parts that require special tools and wear resistance, our company has been involved in the processing of numerous hard materials. Among these, we frequently receive inquiries from many customers regarding "corrosion." This time, we would like to propose a new material in response to the "corrosion" of this hard material. 【Corrosion Resistance Comparison Experiment】 ■ Test 1: A drop of grinding fluid was placed and left overnight (approximately 12 hours) to check the appearance. ■ Test 2: Immersed in liquid for one month to check for corrosion. ■ Test 3: Immersed in a 10% nitric acid solution for 6 hours to compare corrosion depth and corrosion loss. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
