Installed one standard Brodisk and a total of four! Introducing a case study on improving cement discharge issues.
At a concrete secondary product factory, we would like to introduce a case where we received a consultation regarding "the cement transport and weighing equipment, where due to aging of the devices, it has become difficult for the cement to fall."
In this factory, it was observed that when the remaining amount in the cement hopper reached about 1/3, discharge failures were likely to occur.
As a solution, we installed a total of four standard "Blow Disc" units, one on each flat surface near the discharge area, which resulted in a significant improvement in discharge failures.
[Case Overview]
■ Issue
- Discharge failures are likely to occur when the remaining amount in the cement hopper reaches about 1/3.
■ Proposal
- Reviewed the hopper diagram and provided guidance on the appropriate model and placement of the Blow Disc.
- The Blow Disc was introduced, and operation was conducted by manually turning on the air.
