This is a technical case study of our unique PEEK coating "PEEKCOAT" applied to the inner surface of metal pharmaceutical liquid tanks used for storing and transporting various chemical agents and refined liquids. *The images shown are cross-section samples of a small test tank that has been cut in half to confirm the condition of the inner surface application.* In corrosive chemical solutions and high-purity processes, applying this coating to the tank's inner wall achieves "excellent corrosion resistance" and a "metal-free environment." **Main Improvement Effects from Implementation** ■ Overwhelming corrosion resistance to strong chemicals It excels in resistance to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, effectively preventing tank corrosion and degradation from chemical solutions for an extended period. ■ Suppression of metal leaching (metal ion elution) The entire inner surface is coated with PEEK resin, eliminating direct contact with metals, preventing metal contamination in semiconductor and pharmaceutical processes, and maintaining the purity of the chemical solutions. ■ Reduced peeling due to high adhesion and thermal cycling High substrate adhesion minimizes the risk of cracks and peeling caused by temperature changes (thermal cycling) and liquid flow stress during liquid transfer. ■ Completely PFAS-free compliance By not using organic fluorine compounds, we can avoid future environmental regulation risks.
