Elimination of chocolate stops in the conveyor drive unit! Effects of introducing PEEK coating.
The snack food line fundamentally solves the issues of damage to fluororesin tubes and frequent replacement work, dramatically improving line operating rates!
In the automated snack manufacturing line, the seasoning process on the conveyor-driven roller section faced challenges with the adhesion and accumulation of scattered seasonings. ■ Challenges in Conventional Operations - Damage to Fluororesin Tubes Fluororesin tubes were used for operation, but they could not withstand strong friction loads, leading to tears and cracks within just 2 weeks to 1 month. - Frequent Line Stops (Choco Stops) Operating with tears caused seasonings to get caught, resulting in unexpected line stops (choco stops), making frequent replacement work a significant burden. ■ Proposal for Solving the Challenges The PEEK coating "PEEKCOAT N" forms a robust film made of pure PEEK resin without additives, dramatically reducing wear and damage caused by harsh driving loads. It eliminates choco stops and achieves stable operation and increased productivity of the manufacturing line.
