Even with preprocessing for exploring and correcting the entire image, our system is optimized for PC operation, ensuring high speed and stability for simultaneous reading. In the scratch correction demo, we first capture an image of Mount Fuji from a camera video on the left side of the screen. Next, we composite a scratch image onto the captured image to generate a damaged image with some data missing. On the left side of the screen, you can see how the system automatically identifies the missing areas from this damaged image and gradually repairs the scratches through repeated correction processes. While the human eye can easily distinguish the missing areas, detecting scratches (missing areas) from image data is quite challenging. The perception of 'color' changes based on the color components in the light source and the reflectivity of the object, both for human eyes and cameras. Additionally, we addressed the issue of not being able to know the characteristics of the light source in various environments, such as offices or exhibition venues, by incorporating a feature that allows the system to learn 'color' on-site.

Tracking is a pattern matching technique that corrects the rotation and positional deviation of the input image, aligning it to the same position consistently. The feature of this demo is its ability to detect rotational deviations quickly and accurately compared to other pattern matching methods. By switching the tracking ON/OFF at regular intervals, it demonstrates how a rotating target comes to a complete stop. The object placed at the center of the image input from a USB camera is the target, and it maintains its position and angle even with movement and rotation. By processing only the logo, it detects rotation and positional deviation, displaying the adjustments by rotating or moving it in the opposite direction, creating the illusion that "the background is rotating" or that "only the logo is being cut out."
