For several years, we have been developing connectors compatible with crimped cables at KER. We have now developed a new 5.08mm pitch high-current connector, the "FTC Series." This connector is primarily designed for use in high-current applications, with the intention of being adopted in factories and power-related distribution panels. The FLGA is regarded as the next-generation product of IC packages, primarily featuring SOP and SSOP, and it is a package that achieves large memory capacity in a compact size. This series is compatible with 54-pin FLGA sockets and employs a unique contact wiping structure for all pins, ensuring high contact reliability and stability. Additionally, it features a push-lock cover that allows for secure locking and contact of the package. Furthermore, a dedicated insertion and extraction tool is provided for the cover's locking mechanism, making it easy to insert and remove.

With the trend towards thinner and more portable laptops, the batteries used in them are also required to be thinner and lighter. The form of these batteries is transitioning from lithium-ion batteries to lithium polymer batteries, which offer greater freedom of shape and higher power capacity per unit area. The GF series achieves a significant reduction in height, with a mounting height of 3.4mm (on the laptop side) and 2.6mm (on the battery pack side), compared to conventional products. Naturally, the adoption of lithium polymer batteries also requires connectors to be thinner than before, making this series an optimal choice. Additionally, it features a high reliability with a mating stroke of 1.6mm.

This is a connector for battery packs of small devices such as laptops and handheld terminals. An IC is implemented in the battery pack, and it is used for connecting weak currents when exchanging signals between the main unit and the battery pack. The GC and GD series, while compact, ensure sufficient stroke displacement and absorb any play during battery pack installation. Additionally, the springs in this series have a wiping effect, helping to remove dirt and other contaminants from the contact surfaces.

It offers a wide variety of options, flexible custom solutions, durability for various applications, and high-quality products. With completely independent two-point contact, it maintains a consistently stable contact pressure. This structure significantly enhances contact reliability.
