"Morimatsu" successfully commercialized the SUS444 storage tank in 1978, becoming the first in the industry to completely overcome stress corrosion cracking. The SUS444 storage tank was recognized for our delivery achievements and was adopted in the 1993 edition of the Ministry of Construction's standard specifications.
In 1970, we pioneered the development of a stainless steel panel tank that uses stainless steel as the material for the tank and focuses on the sphere, which is structurally ideal from a mechanical perspective, by combining a portion of the sphere with a flat plate to create a panel unit that can be freely assembled. The stainless steel panel tank, which can be freely assembled with six types of panel units, can be manufactured in sizes ranging from small to ultra-large tanks and is used in various fields, including receiving tanks and elevated water tanks.
The stainless steel panel tank with insulation features a three-layer structure that uses high-performance, high-heat-resistant expanded polystyrene (heat-resistant foamed resin) as insulation material between the tank body and an aluminum insulation cover shaped like the tank.
