Keres Tanaka Co., Ltd. collaborates with local businesses to promote and manage the effective use of forests, develop forestry offices and related industries, purify river water quality and water use, and support the purification of Lake Biwa, thereby contributing to ecosystem conservation and the natural cycle from an environmental perspective. To achieve this, it is necessary to effectively utilize materials such as cedar and cypress, which make up a large portion of the forests, thinned wood from these trees, bamboo for the conservation of satoyama (traditional rural landscapes), and waste wood generated from sawmills. However, merely utilizing these materials does not stimulate demand, and it has not been possible to create attractive products that leverage these materials.
