We provide products with characteristics tailored to their intended uses by applying various surface treatments to aluminum paste. ■ Silica Coating - Gas Suppression… By applying a silica treatment to the surface of aluminum flakes, we prevent the reaction of aluminum flakes with water, which generates hydrogen gas. - Environmental Consideration… The silica treatment is compatible with water-based paints that have low organic solvent content. ■ Resin Coating - Chemical Resistance… Coating the surface of aluminum flakes with acrylic resin prevents reactions with acids and alkalis. - Adhesion… When untreated aluminum paste is used in plastic coatings or gravure printing, the paint film may peel off. "Friend Color" is a colored aluminum pigment that uniformly covers an aluminum flake surface with colored pigments. It enables high-saturation and highly decorative color metallic coatings compared to mixing aluminum paste with colored pigments. Additionally, the water-based types EMR-D946BA and EMR-D46GRA have a resin coating layer further covered with a silica layer, allowing compatibility with water-based paints. "Chroma Shine" is a metallic interference color pigment that acquires color through light interference without using coloring agents. Due to its metallic surface, it reflects a lot of light, allowing for strong interference effects. It exhibits multichromism due to the path difference of reflected light between silver-plated surfaces and aluminum surfaces.
