The "CAT-System Pro" is an integrated measurement system that operates on a computer with a front-end (A/D board) for data recording. While recording noise, vibration, etc., it can perform real-time analyses such as FFT (low and high frequency), 1/N octave analysis, and order analysis, while simultaneously saving time data (throughput). The "Acoustic camera CAM64/CAM1K" is a compact and lightweight microphone array with high-sensitivity digital MEMS microphones arranged in a grid pattern, featuring 64 channels or 1024 channels. It enables high-resolution near-field acoustic holography (NAH) analysis with a 2cm microphone spacing. Generally, the level of noise is used as a standard for evaluating mechanical products, but recently, instead of blindly reducing noise, it has become necessary in manufacturing to create pleasant sounds, sounds that evoke a sense of tranquility, and sounds that convey a sense of character. This system uses NI's A/D board to automatically measure vibrations, noise, and rotation pulses from fans (motors), etc. Signal generators (PWM) and DC power supplies (voltage) are controlled from a computer. The knocking sound of the engine can be detected using acceleration sensors and combustion pressure sensors, but in the field of engine durability testing, detection using only non-contact microphones is expected. Here, the application of machine learning is considered, but it is difficult to collect a large amount of knocking sound as training data.
